Just had a call from "Dan" this morning from 800-724-7193. Transferred me to a "Carrie". She had many jobs in Phama and Med Equip that fit my profile and only needed $29 to post the initial screening. I don't give my credit card number out over the phone. She told me she will send sign up information to my email and I could pay online or call her at extension 272....call the toll free number...it answers "human resources department....get out your credit card and get ready to pay $29.

IT IS A BIG SCAM !!!!!

this company says they responded to my careerbuilder resume for pharmaceutical sales job.  It sounds fishy so I googled it and see all the responses posted.  This is unfar and disconcerting and Careerbuilder should be informed!!!

thank you

Like the rest of you, I too received the same recorded message from "Dan" on my voice mail.  My resume was posted long over a year ago and they only just left me this message yesterday.  I'm glad that I thought to google the phone number!  Needless to say, I won't be returning "Dan's" call.

I just got a phone message from Dan myself. He said he had my resume from a pharmacuetical position I applied to. I dont think so, I'm looking for that type of job. I won't be returning his call. I've lost two jobs, back to back, in the past 2 1/2 years due to the down turned economy and budget cuts. It wasn't any fun staring at my computer screen for 6 months then, and it wont be now. I had my resume listed on at least 30 internet job boards. It took me most of the day just to go through all the email alerts I was getting. Reputable recruiting firms may come across your resume, and try to contact you, which is good. But, they will have a specific job in mind, and they will tell you about that job. Although they may have resume upgrades and advanced searches for a fee, they will never ask for money from you to apply to a position. And dont give money to anyone that does. They get their fee from the company that hires you. And job boards get their money from employers who post jobs. People like "Dan" and hundreds of job boards that are on the internet now, basically dont have jobs to offer. They know there are alot of people out there that are desperate for jobs that will pay a fee up front for their worthless services. My advise would be to stick with Career Builders, Monster, and Indeed. Especially Indeed.com. They have job postings from a multitude of other job boards.

SCAM. SCAM. SCAM. Gosh...how frustrating is it that they can a) get away with this and B) that a bunch of f%$&ing scum suckers are preying on the unemployed with hopes of a good job. I wish them the worst kind of death!

I'm back on here again. Today they called me, again while I didn't have my phone with me. This time it was different like "Eric from Tampa" said: # that came up was 800-724-7193 on my caller ID but the recording was made by a "Dan" and asked me to call back an 866-816-4744 # concerning my interest with pharmaceutical sales. UGH! WTH!!!????!!

I also got a recorded message from "Dan" telling me to call 1-866-816-4744. The number that they used to call me was 1-800-724-7193. Since they didn't match and he didn't say what company he was with, so I googled and saw all of the above.
I won't be calling them back. Sounds like a waste of time.

I experienced something very similar except the call was from a different phone number:

(866) 816-4744

The pre-recorded voicemail message was from Dan about a pharm sales position. I didn't even call back after reading everyone elses postings. Just be smart, use Google if something doesn't feel right before you put your time into it.

I applied for sales management. Thanks to these post I will not be calling back...There are a lot of these "SO CALLED" jobs that ask for money --- I'm very sure it's supposed to work the other way around.

Didn't have my phone on me when it supposedly rang and they left a voicemail. Like what others are saying, the message states that they got my resume and know of my interest in pharmaceutical sales (which I am NOT). They gave me this number as the call back and since I never looked up their kind of company in a job search, I Googled their number first and found this.

Citizens should be allowed to sue these kinds of scammers - I'm looking for a job, and yes, I made my resume and contact info public, but that is to help me get a job, NOT get annoying phone calls from scams! GRR!!!

I received a call from them as well.  They say well what is your zip code and yes we still have several jobs open in your area.  They go through the pitch and want the $29 to prescreen you for their clients.  They said that they do get a fee on the back end from their clients but do not feel that their clients should have to pay to prescreen candidates.  The guy did not hang up when I told him that I was not employed and did not have $29. But it is a scam.  You can find the same jobs they are talking about if you look at the various job web sites for free.

Tina said I applied for a position in pharmacuetical sales like on CareerBuilder or something.  I got an automated call from this number.  Tina gave me tel. # 866-291-1330 x-645 - said it was for National Sales - sales & management jobs.  They want $29.95 on a credit/debit card to register my resume.  One should never have to spend money to get a job and I think this is a scam.  There's a lot of this going on now because people are desperate!!!
