Got a call from this number and it seems as if this is a company called Progressive Financial Services acting on behalf of the Department of Education.

I am receiving continued messages to a person who is not at this phone number.  When I call the 800 number there is no way to input the requested extension, and I am put on hold.  This is harassment.  Even worse in when I called in for messages from out of the country and had to pay to retrieve this rubbish.

Got same type of call, had my mom-in-laws name...what a total scam! These people should get real jobs and quit trying to fraud people. Next time they call, which they haven't yet, I am gonna give them a few choice words.

These people have called my mothers number and my number Looking for my X father-in-law stating these are contact number.  How can someone be a contact and not even live in the same city. Or even have the same Last name.  We have told these people to quit calling our numbers but they seem to do so.  I have spoke to Lashon, a Robert Vaugh, Danielle.  Lashon ext is 63776.  This is causing family problems and I want these people to quit harrassing my 74 year old mother and causing problems for between my husband and I.   My number is a non published number for over 30 years.  Now you tell me how this company got my number and I am paying for a non published number.

Someone by the name of Jack Charles (If that's his real name ) called from this 1-800-761-5394 number Ext. 63693 and asked to talk to my mother about case # 52095100 .Said he was from the UCB My mother has been in the hospital for the past 2 months with congestive heart failure and diabetes,do they really think I'm going to give out the hospital name and number so they can harass her in there ?

if anyone calls looking for a neighbor please tell them nothing and tell them to take your number off the list. they are not supposed to call you for information!!!

Similar calls. They called my aunt who doesn't even live with me. Not sure how they got her number.

My ex-roommate (2 years ago, mind you) got a call from these guys looking for me!  She's not even a relative!  The only place our information has been together is on our light bill and on our lease so they had to fish for this information.  Shady, man.
They are badgering people who aren't even really associated with me trying to get information.  That's just not right.

A message was left on my phone for a person who doesn't live here.  The message was difficult to understand for the person spoke very fast.  He gave an extension number 63823.  Quote something about a social issue.  He left in the message the phone number which is 1-800-761-5394 and the extension where he could be reached.  I definitely think this is a scam.  I am on the NO CALLER LIST!

Got a call from this number, Robert.  Trying to scare me and ask me to give them information.

Mr. Cuffs called and in a very imitaditing voice, informed my husband over voice mail that they were looking for my mom.  The man was very imitidating on the phone.  There is no way they recieved our very new phone number legally!

I got message for someone who do not live and associate with us to give a call back to 800-761-5394 x63919 Nikki. I have no idea about that and i wondering how do they know my name and number. So i called back today. They are looking for the person which is not associate with me and i asked them what business are you from? The person said UCB and they will remove my number. I am not sure do they really remove the number or not.

What kind of scam is? Beware. Do not give out too much information about yourself or others. I only give my first name and my phone number so that they can remove from their list or whatever. The rest of the information i just follow what they said. Tell them you do not know the person they are looking for.

800-761-5394 is another 800 number that those slugs at UCB (United Collection Bureau) use. They made off that this call was for my wife and mentioned my son's name also and wanted to discuss their offer with either one. I have been divorced for almost 2 years and haven't had contact with the b***h and my son since then. Some how they got my phone number which isn't even in my name...

Called and left message with son and after attempting to call back several times never got a response.  Referred to 50684703 when they called.

Yeah, someone keeps calling my phone from 800 761-5394 and keep telling me about some case pending that needs to be resolved.They give me this B**sh*t statement saying that there is a matter that needs to be taken care of, but I have no clue of what they are talking about.I am getting very pissed off and furious because they wont tell me what it is that I did nor do they make the effort to sound professional about it.

A "Miss Gieger" at 1800-761-5394 - extension 63965. She first proceeded to burp into the phone when leaving a message at my former place of employment then insisted that I call her ASAP!  I was layed off a month ago in November from this place of employment and even told her that a month ago.  She has left threatening phone calls and doesn't even know how to pronounce my last name properly and doesn't even sound like she is a US citizen.  Beware of this women!!!!!

A Mr. Wayne left a message and said it was imperative that I respond by 7 pm, gave a number (800-761-5394) an extension (63877) along with a reference number (50637285).  My last name is usually mispronounced and was by Mr. Wayne, so I did not call back, at least there hasn't been another call.

i lady called my fiance's father and said i owe money, but would not give any info about herself, the company she worked for, or what the debt is from.  the number was 1-800-761-5394, ext. 3649.  Beware, don't give out any personal info or you will get ripped off.

CALLED MY WORK AND LEFT A MESSAGE WITH A COWORKER AND TOLD HER THAT HE HAD DISCUSSED BUYING A HOUSE WITH THEM AND WANTED MY PERSONAL NUMBER AND WHEN I TRIED CALLING BACK TO SEE WHO THEY WERE THE OPERATOR LADY WAS VERY RUDE. SHE YELLED AT ME FOR INQUIRING WHAT IT IS THIS BUSINESS DID.

Dawn Marie called looking for my son. I would NOT give a number so she left her number, extension and a reffernce number so he could call her. Said she was from UCB but would not tell me what it concerned. I wonder how they got my number, since my last name is no longer the same as his.

Caller called my direct line(which is not listed) at the business where I work.  Left a message for another person in my department.  She said she was with the "Asset Investigation Department".  Left 800-761-5394 with extension 3868 to call back.
I think someone is trying to pull a fast one!

United Collection Bureau called looking for my daughter.  Tried to pass herself off as a lawyer (calling on a Sunday) and became very belligerent when I wouldn't give her a phone number or an address.

Someone called my in-laws looking for my brother and told them they were being called because they were related.  Wouldn't give company or any other information because it was a legal matter and just left a phone number and extension.

Called Looking for someone that doesn't live here.  Left a number and extension regarding an extremely important matter to discuss.

Someone called my cell phone leaving this number saying she was calling on behalf of United Bureau. She said some paperwork was left with her about a breach of contract. When I got home there was a message on my home phone from someone else for me and my husband, same phone number and extension was left. Also the number on the caller ID in both cases was not the number they left, home phone ID said AGI.

UCB wanted my bank account info over the phone or for me to make a payment via western union for the large payment would not take monthly payments. very rude, contacted old neighbors of mine from 2 years ago.  This is a violation of federal law!

Phone call voice message from a Mr. Robert Vaughan, looking for someone that does not live at my number. Asked for call back to extension 3977.  The 800 number seems to go to a service which then connects to the given extension.  Person would not answer who he represents nor why he is calling, put me on hold so I hung up.

Message threatened the person the call was directed at to have their attorney present and gave a long file number for reference and stated they must call back by 9PM, not giving time zone or any other information. Pretty nasty manners if you ask me.

They called my house looking for my daughter. When I returned the call, Anna Garcia wanted a social security number. When I refused, she told me I better get a lawyer because I was gonna need one.  Wow. That sounds like harassment to me.

Called my son looking for my wife his step mother. Didn't return call he gave a case number and extension.  Will contact Police to trace 800 number.

Called several times looking for someone else.
