Got two calls now from someone named "Jeweeva," 1-800-763-2419 extension 8685.  No information left at all, I was told that these calls would continue daily until I return the call and to govern myself accordingly.  A call back got me to the voicemail of someone named "Debbie."  There doesn't seem to be any connection or any company name, but "Debbie's" voicemail password is "1234".  I guess they don't teach people much at these places.

I got a few voice mails already from this number regarding some credit issue for someone that I haven't heard of. Does that happen to any one else here? If it did, did you call them back and let them know that the person don't even exist??

i got a call from 18007632419 they told  me they are calling from global mail and ask about someone information.pls aware about these people

My wifes phone was ringing today 16/06/10 and I answered as she was lying down. A women was on the other end going by Claudia at ext:2419 and she seemed very out of sorts since I answered the phone. She gave me a number to call and an extension. I did not bother to ask what it was about as we have had calls like this before for my wife, and we generally ignore them. The best thing to do is play pranks on them to waste their time, as they are in the business of wasting ours.

Everyday I get a recording at my place of work asking for an employee to call them at 8007632419 and left a reference number.  No name of the company what so ever.  Even if they are a collection agency are they not allowed to call the persons place of work.  I find this rude and very unprofessional.  The recording is hard to understand as it is since most of the time it begins half way through the recordng so teh person answering the phone has to be able to sit and wait for it to replay.  This is hard for someone like me who spends my day answering and transfering calls constantly.

If people are calling your family members, or calling you looking for yours, in most Provinces, that is ILLEGAL. Tell people to stop doing it or you w ill report them.

I received a letter claiming I owe a certain amount. Well, I checked with my bank to see if I actually did owe what they were claiming. NO!  The bank said there was no information on my account about any 'collections'.

Global Credit was rude on the phone and I said the bank suggested it might be a scam. the person on the phone said 'thats ridiculous for the bank to say that since they contacted the agency. Whatever idiot!

Sucky thing is, now I have to deal with them phoning every day.

Listen everyone..I've also had a hard time getting through but i happen to reach one person, can't remember her name but extention was 8696.
not rude in any way and tried to help as much as possible.
best bet is to call her.

I got a phone call (15 Apr 08)from a man called "Burton", the same kind of message was left as well on my voice mail telling me that, he was not telemarketr and that he had an urgent matter that needs my immediate attention. He told me to call him at 1-800-763-2419 with Ext:8664.

I called back the number and I realize the first sign of trouble:
before entering the extension number I was expecting some sort of introduction about the company/organization (like name of organization, who they are, options to choos from and ...)and instructions how to navigate, instead it went immediately to this anouncement "this call is being monitored for quality purposes, if you know the extension of the person you are calling dial it now or for assistance press '0' or remain on like some one will be with you shorlty".

I did not even find Mr. Burton, instead I got some lady that was very rude, all she want was extracting info from me and not the other way around. Finaly, after several attempt trying to get my name and other info she hanged-up on me. She also refuse to let me talk to Mr. Burton.

In my opinion, any legitimante organization will not do business they way these people doing.

By they was I managed to get the name of the company, ofcourse this is probably not true but never the less she gave me the name.

I did a search on it both in US and Canada by business name and phone number, it does not exist.


My only conclusion after this experience is that this is a big scam. In fact I don't even think these F**ks are very smart and would not be suprise if they get caught very soon.

Got phone call march 19/08 stating to talk to my aunt who does not speak a word of english.  I told her my aunt does not speak a word of english and if she can tell me what is this about b'cos I translate for them.   She state, "is none of my business and it has no concern to me"  LOL!!!  why did they have my number in the first place???   Obvious that I translate for my aunt for any logical person out there.  They could not even tell me which company they are from.    I told her, is rude of her to speak to me.  She state, "that I am not her company client"  I state I do not need her attitude and tone language.   All I need is the company name and what industry they are from.   She refused and I asked to speak to her manager and she state, "HE WAS NOT THERE", BUT less than 30 second later I still insist and finally a man name "JOSH" pressume to be the manager.  I told him the story but he has the same attitude and tone as (ANNE which I got later)  I will find out more on this and put an end to this BULL S***.   So, be aware of the rudeness of the staff.

I am looking after this person's place and they said this was not a telemarketer, this call was important but was private and confidential matter.    Who and what would they be looking for.  Is this a scam or debt collector?

called...left a message saying they weren't a telemarketer and I should press
a number to speak to someone as it was very important to resolve this matter immediately.  They left a reference number but no details as to who they were like a persons name or company name.
The number did not come up on the call display.
