When I try to call this phone number back, it rings and then connects somewhere else and you get a busy tone.  Why can't you get a VM or person, then if it is really the Red Cross?  I was going to block my phone from this phone number because it was frustrating me.

It is the Red Cross calling for a blood donation.

I arrived at this phone number 800-939-9800 in the course of an insurance fraud investigation, and chased it through several other phones and web domains.  It is best to just stay far away from the caller and number, unless you too are a fraud investigator.

When I call the number it says, "If you would like to refinance your mortgage call 800-939-9800."

Don't know who it is.

They call but don't leave any msgs.

I got a call from this number on my home phone at 4:33am on a Saturday.  When I picked up there was no one responding.

only calling my  cell phone...don't know how they got it...but I don't answer and they don;t leave a voicemail

I received a call from this # and they left a msg.
It was the American Red Cross thanking me for donating blood multiple times and said they were in need of my blood type and I was soon eligible to donate again, and left a # to call back to schedule an appt/inform me of when there would be a mobile donation site in my area soon.
(she sounded like a cutie)

Saw on a separate post this is likely American Red Cross. If you have ever donated blood, but don't go regularly, they will call to try and set up an appointment.
