Funny thing is this guy Kevin (THE CROOK) Brown actually worked for me (unfortunately) as a collection agent, we soon understood what sort of person this guy is, i actually caught him making personal calls to his mistress during work hours while his pregnant wife was on the way to pick him up for lunch.

He is a crook and employs many illegal techniques and an awful attitude, which led to a very quick termination of contract for him.

Stay away from him or any of these so called companies he may be calling from, he is  a crook.

Shame i didn't know about who this guy really is before i hired him.

I have been getting calls from Website Innovations. The number was 480-966-1385. When I asked if I could call them back "Ricky" gave me 800-781-3445 ext 200 to call him back. He said he was calling because I had inquired about making money from home online.

Sue Kevin Brown with the prior Brown Stein and Weissman personally and avoid all of the business name change issues.  I am sure he can get bilked for $1,000.00 a pop before he changes occupations.  Here is how you prove he is associated.  Walk into the front door of the Walton County Sheriff's Department front door and ask for the records unit.  Ask to file discovery on any reports for Kevin Brown.  They will give you a form to fill out and then you pay for the documents.  You will obtain Kevin Brown's date of birth, address and phone number.  I know there is one report with a very credible victim who had no outstanding debts.  This victim's wife was referred to as a "bi***" by one of the reps when she tried to explain that they had the wrong person and refused to provide her information.  They also refused to give their information.  She was called because their computer defaulted her phone numbers area code because they did not have the actual area code.  They did not verify the phone number before calling and threatening the inocent victim with prosecution.  Here is where they made the real mistake.  The victims husband is a police officer and he tracked them down.   The business address was a UPS store in Loganville Georgia.  This is where they received the debts.  The reps of UPS were kind and provided the info to Loganville P.D. and referred the case to Walton County Sheriff's Deputies who paid Kevin Brown a vistit at his home address where he operated the business.  They were not a legal firm.  They were a legit business violating every Federal Statute.  If you are willing to file a suite, I am pretty sure the victim's husband listed in the report would be more than willing to testify against Kevin Brown.  Mr. Brown, I am sure you will now realize the victim's husband was serious when he told you he would put is unhappy a-- in the front seat of his car and find you.  Well he did.  It is a year later and you are still committing the same violations.  You will be found just as easily again and this time you will pay for your crimes if any other victims need a credible witness to take you down personally without you hiding behind a fake business name.

This company called me at work and refused to send me anything in writing.  They were threatening me with Fraud for a deposit that was made into my account back in 2008.  She said that she didn't have to send me anything in writing.  They are rude and not at all who they say they are.  She tried to scare me with litigation and warrants and just all around the justice system.

It's a law office working for a payday loan lender.

This is the 3rd time I have received a call from this number associating me with a debt that is actually in another person's name that I do not know.When I tried to get more information the company hung up.Yet wekly I keep getting these calls.

I got a call today from "Investigator Fitzgerald" from the number 687-279-5441. They said that they have a case against me in Hillsborough County attached to the social security number ending in blah blah blah. I have gotten many calls from this number before and another one just like it from Lockport, NY. They both claim they have a criminal case against me about bad checks. Funny things is....I have NEVER written a check in my life with any of the checking accounts I have had....so how is it that I wrote a bad check? I have never had a box of checks associated with my accounts and refuse the starter checks when I open a new account. Funny how that works. When I call them back, they won't give me any info unless I give them my SSN and Driver's License number. They can go screw themselves. I have already filed with the FTC and local Attorney General. Next step to send C&D letters. B*****ds aren't getting my money.

OMG I just got a call from this Tiffany Belle, she said I asked her to investigate my checking account..Thing is I don't have one.  I called the police, I will let yall know what I find out.

After doing a search, I found that somebody is the foursquare mayor of both Group Genesis & Assoc and Brown Stein and Weismann.  Here's the facebook profile for that person: http://www.facebook.com/Durandurandie .  The description she gives of her job is classic.

MAYBE, JUST MAYBE, IF THERE WERE NOT PEOPLE OUT THERE, LIKE THESE PHONY COLLECTORS, NON OF YOU WOULD BE HAVING THIS DISCUSSION.  IT SEEMS THAT, IF SOMEONE WRITES A BAD CHECK, THEY ARE GIVEN THE CHANCE TO MAKE IT GOOD. Brown Stein and Weissman was dissolved on the 25th of October. Happy Happy Joy! Although now it looks like our 'debt' has moved to something called "Group Genesis & Associates"  IT seems they use the same Tactics and are owned by an actual attorney. If they call you I'd file complaints to the GA State Bar Asscn ASAP.

These guys just deleted any negitive reviews about them on Merchant Circle. Sheesh. I feel so bad for people who can't find out the truth about this company.

They have 3 more new numbers
the 1st one is 918-848-8991  if you call it back it will tell you it is not a working number however they can cal out on it or it has been disconnected recently

2nd # is 904-302-9498 call back you get the recorded voice saying if you have recently been served etc

3rd 913-871-4028 call back and get the same as the above #

I thought I did enough checking when these guys initially called me 4 months ago about some checks my husband bounced back before I met him.

After some unusual practices and an odd phone call this morning I decided to google 1-800-781-3445 (this number is no longer in service which was the biggest red flag that caused me to google it), wish I would have done that sooner

I have already "paid off" half of the so called debt and am kicking myself for not triple checking this in the beginning like my gut told me too. I got too caught up in the fear hype (we were already in a rough patch this just intensified it).

The message left today told me to call 1-888-392-6130

The new number they are calling from however is 1-678-672-6310

I already have the information to contact the FTC and my States GA, I am starting this process tomorrow.

I really should have listened to my gut instinct on this one.

They haven't called me since August. I think they gave up because I filed SO MANY complaints. My state has more requirements of debt collectors than the federal government so they are super in violation in my state!
