I have a question, when Indymac calls everyone, does the call start with a recording telling you that the call is being recorded? What is the beginning of the call like?

Does this ever associate to another person... I dont have any account with INDY MAC - and yet they call 2-4 times a day
Stevan 2013-09-11 19:39:48 Unknown
Same thing here! I wish someone would stop this. I don't know what the point is of calling over and over just to hang up!
Stevan 2013-09-11 19:39:03 Unknown
Get calls from this number multiple times a day at my WORK NUMBER. Every time I answer it is dead silence and then a hang up. Very frustrating for me while at work and have work to do. Half the time I run through the office to get to my phone and Find out it is this 800 number. Please do something about this.

I don't know the company, but they have called me twice today from ( 800 ) 781- 7399 and hang up. Please stop this, we are a company and this is annoying and a waste of time.
Thank you

Received a call from IndyMac Mortgage Services this morning. When I called back to see what they wanted, I was told that it was to notify me that my account has been transferred to Ocwen Loan Servicing, LLC beginning 01 September 2013 which I already knew from a snail mail letter.

Rico,
I also tried Indy Mac modification program. After almost a year of calls, paperwork and more paperwork I was told I did not qualify. During this entire process they kept telling me that my documents were being reviewed. It was a nightmare so I finally just gave up.

Got modification with them. Took forever, they kept asking for the same and additional paperwork over and over even after sending it to them. Hang in there if you are serious, my payment was reduced $680.00 per month. Good Luck.

Applied for a modification with them and 9 months later after putting us off month after month they denied us. And at THIER request lowered the payment amount during that period of time. SO after they declined us they told us we had even more to make up because WE were making smaller than normal payments. IndyMac (OneWest Bank) are crooks of the highest order. Check out other google posts about them.

Yup - it's Indymac. Even if you're current on your mortgage payments they'll still call you to see if you are interested in a "loan modification" program. The problem is that they aren't sure whether or not you'll qualify, so it's pretty much a waste of time. And if you don't qualify, they still keep calling. Customer Service, where art thou?

I get these calls from Indy Mac two to three times a day, everyday. My mortgage is current although I have been late in the past. I am curious what they want though.
I think it's strange that they harrass people as much as they do although Indy Mac was one of banks that caused this economic crisis.
I was listening to NPR radio on my way home from work and they did a segment about one of the mortgages they approved. Some engineer in Texas applied for a $450,000 home mortgage
and was approved and the bank gave him the mortgage although he only earned $50,000 a year.
Needless to say the monthly mortgage payment was way to high for him and the house went back to the bank. Way to go IndyMac!!!!
You'll get your money when I'm ready to give it to you.

One West bank calls all the time. Today they said because we were 30's late in December the investor requires they call us X amount of times a month, he never gave us a number so I guess it at their discretion I told him that was harassment. How can we stop the calls ? If we don't answer the calls they some times call 10 times a day.

This is from Indy Mac. They are a collection agency. I filed a complaint against them to the "Do Not Call Registry" because I called them back, requested they remove my telephone number (it was a federal telephone number on a military base) because I had no connection to them and did not have a mortgage. They were calling my phone 2-3 times a day and when I answered, there wouldn't be anyone there.

Just as a point of information regarding IndyMac Mortgage. The first time you are late with your mortgage, they will call you every single month afterwards even if you pay by the 16th each month thereafter. You will receive a call around the 3rd to the 5th. You can tell them not to call you because you are not late, they still give you the same monologue. Sometimes I get so angry that I purposely wait until the 16th to pay. So you must have a perfect payment record with them in order not to receive phone calls.

Janice 2011-11-08 00:22:48 Unknown
If you will write Indy Mac a letter, add name, account number and date it....tell them they are not to correspond with you via phone, that you will accept correspondance about your account via snail mail only. Signature of Acocunt Holders Name and Print Name underneath it and Hand Print the date. Keep a copy of this letter and mail it. They will no longer call you. If you do answer any calls from other numbers they are calling from requesting to update your records and you verify your phone numbers and email...the calls from them will begin again. If your late with payment, you know it already. If your working on modification, short sale or other...again notify them in writing that you do not wish to be contacted via telephone about your account. You can do this for any company you have an account payable that you are receiving calls from.

I did a loan modification with them. It went very well.
Denise 2011-09-08 18:47:43 Unknown
We sold off our house last year to a company that deals in buying and selling homes throughout the country. The company pays off the loan, and we get the overage. To this day, Indy Mac is still billing and calling us for late loan payments. Unbelievable! Nothing but a bunch of beligerant, uneducated, non-understandable morons who harrass you to no end.
