I called back and got a recorded msg that said, "welcome to the message review system.  To review your messages press one.  To opt out of future messages..." I hung up.  Since I have ABSOLUTLY no reason that this should actually apply to me I felt it was better safe than sorry to just hang up.

Got a call from this number on 9/11. Assume this is one of those car dealership phone messages.

I was getting calls from this number.  They were advertising oil change services.  It was annoying.  I called the number and used their menu system to opt out of future messages.

Garden State Honda sales call. Automated voice hawking new deals this holiday season at Garden State Honda... On Christmas Morning!!!!!!!!

Just received a text, then a VM 5 minutes later from Mobile1 via this number.  We had our oil changed there once and have been receiving texts and VMs on the cell ever since.  The text/VM combo this time was at least for something worthwhile, if it is legit - old cell phones for the troops.  Most of the time it is a Mobile1 promotion.

Based on earlier posts, I called the number and was able to easily opt-out of future calls.  Hope it works.

I received an unwanted call. from 8008159907, I am on the do not call list. I do not like receiving calls I am paying for.

Recorded call from the local Dodge dealer that I bought my truck from 3 years ago, reminding me to check tire pressure and fluids before a labor day trip. No sales pitch, not even a "bring it in for service" reminder.

I came to this place asking for serving on my honda, dropped it off and used the honda courtesy van to take me home. After waiting for like 6-7 hrs, I borrowed my girlfriends car to check on how my car was doing. They didnt even touch or look at it. Really Bad Service. Never going to visit that place again and now they are calling me back for ratings and promotions they have to offer me.

Got a call a 8:33 PM tonight on my cell phone.  Pre-recorded message from some Nascar driver wanting to wish me a merry X-mas...  Called them back and removed myself, hope it works....

I got the same thing.. Santa says he is coming to my house on Christmas eve..  I hope someone does try to come in my house Christmas Eve ...  I dont live in a handgun carry friendly state for nothing :-)

... the voicemail left said it was Santa Claus. No sales pitch or anything. Just saying I was good this year and to go to bed early to get all my presents.

I just got a call from "Santa" telling me I had been very good this year and to go to bed nice and early Christmas Eve because I was getting lots of presents. It had my name in the recording and everything. Kinda funny, actually.
