Phone display "Unavailable", and never leaves a message.
From what I am reading, I guess it's Sears calling. Makes sense, our warranty is expiring on the lawnmower we bought a couple of years ago.
The warranty to renew costs more than what the mower is worth, I'm not going to even waste my time, lol.

Sears calls and mails about service contracts for appliances that we replaced long ago. This number will be blocked.

I just got a call from them too. You need to go to your local Sears sore in person and ask them to not call you ever again. Or send them an e-mail to have the calls stopped. The FCC rule is whoever has called more than 3 times is considered harassment. Our Government nor the FCC doesn't do a damn thing about these unwanted calls. They keep calling me also. They don't ever leave a message. It is illegal also. They try to have people get angry at them is what they're doing. These harassers need to be put out of business . We did not give them permission to call us either. I just wish our telephone company would stop them. We might just discontinue our phone line if this continues. We are getting so tired of the abuse also. People need to start protesting on this.

If you have gone on Sears site to pay your bill, it has asked to confirmed your information. Did you notice that your phone number is blank with a requirement asterisks? That is when call renewed for me. I had forgotten to mail my payment so I went online to make the payment. Once I had entered my info making my payment, the calls started that evening. I was not home, but I have caller i.d. No message was left after the number called 3 times that evening. I went on 800notes and found it was Sears. Since then, they have called 3 times in morning, 3 times in evening for the last 2 days. Talk about abuse of power. All I did was pay my bill.

Sears calling to renew warranty. Told lady (1) you call more than 3 times a day (FCC rule 3 or more considered harassment) from various phone numbers and (2) TV was returned to store the next day.
She apologized and says she'll remove phone number.
We shall see. Gonna send Sears a FB msg too.
At least my caller ID says Sears or Sears Protect.

They called today, I didn't say anything at first and they kept repeating my name. I finally said YES??? The gentleman said "this is XXX (forgot his name) from Sears, I am calling about your refrigerator. I figured it was a call trying to get me to get the warranty, which I never purchased to begin with. I just told him I wasn't interested and hung up.

Nice try, Sears! I bought a refrigerator from Sears about 1 year ago. Declined the extended warranty at time of purchase. Sears called me every day for about 3 weeks, tried to get me to purchase a warranty. I never answered the phone, they never left a message. Just got a call from Sears a short time ago. It appears Sears is starting up the harassment again!

I was receiving so many calls from this number. All Hours. I finally answered to tell them to stop calling. There is no name on caller id. A man on the phone said he was with Sears and it was time to renew my repair policy for my washing machine. He quoted me a price and said he could take care of it for me today. If I would give him my Sears charge card number or any charge card info he would put it through. I told him that I didn't give my charge card info to anyone over the phone and he could send me the paper work. He said we don't do that. Well yeah Sears does. Then I hung up. I think it's a scam to catch you off guard to get personal info. I had already updated my warranty. I did wonder how he knew this.

Sears, calling about extended warranty on product that is over 5 years old and done scrapped. They call every year and are a pain. Why doesn't Sears monitor them.

they have been calling daily ( i never answer house phone--kept it for using the number as i do not give out cell to anything except friends/family and my doctor!)
never leave a message.
i have not bought anything from sears since 2009 (dishwasher). not sure why they are calling now.
had washer and dryer for at least 9 years each.
dont need anything fixed. everything is running fine.
i hate sales calls and telemarketers and spam calls---get lots of those. So i let my answer machine answer all of them. most are not leaving message. HA.

I answered figuring that it was a telemarketer, but no one was there. Other posters have said that it was Sears. I just re-upped my warranty on our Sears dishwasher. Not sure what they're up to.
At the very least, SEARS should have caller ID!

Answered the call assuming it was a telemarketer. Other posters are saying it's Sears. I recently re-upped the warranty on our Sears dishwasher. Perhaps this is what prompted the call???
There was no one on the line when I answered. At the very least, Sears should have caller ID...

I dislike 1-800 numbers that call and will not leave a message. If I don't recognize a number I will not answer it. I have caller ID and an answering machine. They left no message..

We made the mistake of buying a refrigerator from Sears with a Service Contract. After many service visits to fix the freezer that didn't drain during defrost, but instead encased the bottom of the freezer in an ever-growing glacier, we bought a new Korean Refrig/Freezer. No more monthly ice chipping expeditions ! And now that the useless Service Contract is expiring, they call and call for me to renew a Service Contract for a unit I dumped ? Please file at https://esupport.fcc.gov/ccmsforms/form1088.action and contact your state Attorney Generals office.

I've submitted a complaint to the federal "National Do Not Call Registry" against this number.
https://complaints.donotcall.gov/complaint/complaintcheck.aspx
If enough of us file complaints there, that telemarketer will be tracked down and fined.

I forward my land line to my cell phone.
It has caller ID and call reject. If I get a call from out of area or
from a number I don't know, I place the number on Call Reject.
I never hear it ring anymore. It just hangs up on them.... :-)

Indeed this is a call from Sears for warranty renewal. This man explained that my warranty was about to expire and that I could renew it immediately and save $300 (probably his cut). I typically conduct all the business in my house but my husband was responsible for the last renewal, so I informed the caller that I would remind my husband who would make the renewal decision. He became very indignant, telling me that the offer (discounted) would not be good beyond this call. What totally pissed me off was when I told him "thank you, but I am going to let my husband make that call". He then tells me, listen, before you cut me off, which I would not have done, he continues about putting the transaction on my credit card. Obviously, he wants to close the deal, so I respond, "what part of what I am saying don't you understand", before I could complete what I was saying, he hung up on me.
I have had warrantees on my Sears products for years and for my upright freezer, it has totally paid for itself many times over until last year when it was no longer efficient to repair it.
Point is, I don't think anyone should cave in just because someone is giving them the hard-sell. For those of us that have benefited from our warranty coverage, we are loyal customers for that very reason, so lock-down that bully attitude. I have no problem with replacing my appliances from elsewhere, no matter the cost, next time around. We are not the captive audience you may believe we are.
