They are calling because they are looking for someone who listed your number as theirs.  They are trying to collect past due payments.  If you answer and tell them that the person they are looking for is not connected to your number they should update their records.  But if you do owe them a payment yourself it won't matter if you schedule a payment or not, they keep calling twice a day every day until the payment is reflected in their system.  Ridiculous.

It is unbelievable to me how this company (HSBC) could constantly do this to people!
My husband & I are usually on time with our payments, but now we are only a few days late. These people have called & called & will not leave us alone and it is just so ridiculous!
With the job I've previously had, we've made the payments the best we could, but now they're getting ready to be pissed for a different reason.
The new job I have now pays GREAT & we've decided the first thing we're going to do is PAY THEIR A**ES OFF! Which ofcourse means doubling up on those payments & they won't like that either because you know these kind of places don't want you to double up on payments or pay anything completely off because then they can't charge you that interest & hate it when you pay it off because then they can't have their fun by harrasing you!
Their a**es are in for a rude awakening now!!! lol

Since Thrusday 4-30-09 I have been gatting calls from this number 800-836-6469. They call eith times a day. Tursday and Friday I had classes so I could not answer them. But today I was able to anser the phone and every time I answered the person calling me was trying to contact someone else, people have no association with in any way, and the company hangs up on me before I can get another word in. Don't they have a file that tells them who they're really calling?

I have no association, not that I know of and we always pay no later than on time, with the company that has this phone number 800-836-6469. I have no idea what they want or why theu keep calling the wrong number.

These people have called my phone several times looking for a Kim Waddell. I don't know her/him and told the Customer Service Rep this as well. But I still recieve calls from this # .

I answered, got a recording Please Wait, woman came on line, asked for James, I asked who was calling, "Lydia," and with whom she wanted to speak, "James or Tina, Tina." I asked "from what company?"  "Lydia" said it was a personal business call for Tina.  I told her it was not, not James, that there is no Tina here and never has been.

They financed my vehicle a couple of years ago.  They are callings me every two hours!  Argh!  Yes, folks, it is a psychological game that is being played.  ...Working on your mind, wearing you down, forcing you to take action..  ...Just change your phone number.  Purchase a bum phone from 7-11. Give them that number and let them harass the bum phone, not your personal cell phone. ...Face it folks, ..you're going to have to get smarter about the problem..  ..You need to be accountable, but need to have an electronic secretary that keeps the jerks off of your front porch and out of your backyard.  Take care dear friends..

Continuing calls for someone that does not nor never has lived here

They called me every half an hour or so according to my in-laws. They refused to leave message.

I think it is hilarious they call 20 plus times a day...the funniest part are all the postings I read regarding the LAW and how they are going to sue etc, etc....do not get me wrong HSBC is pond scum and basically rapes people with ridiculous interest rates.

Yes, they got me too as if you have ANY bumps on your credit the car dealerships use them or American General (AIG company..another pond scum lender)and the dealerships build in a ton of additional points as they raise your rate so HSBC loves car dealers IE pond scum finance managers.

Anyway, in case anyone is wondering why they will keep getting away with it is because there is NO SUCH thing as a "International Do Not Call List" so if there phones are routed through there good luck with your going nowhere lawsuit. IE: This is why you can not understand most of them and why they all sound like "Johnny Five is Alive".

Do what I do and have fun with them...use different voices, ask them personal information, etc....No matter what you do or how mad you get they will NEVER stop calling until your loan is paid off. I feel sorry for all the postings I read about never having a loan with them...you must have a new number or someone gave them a fake one which happened to be yours. Keep smiling!!!!

I have been getting calls from 800.836.6469 every hour on the hour for 2 weeks now. I have a loan with HSBC and made the mistake of answering the phone and was informed that I was 540.00 behind in my car payment (which I am not) and that I would need to pay the full amount to get the calls to stop, (which basically amounts to extortion). I told the representative, which I could barely understand, that I was not behind in my car payment and that I had no intention of giving them anything other than my car payment when it was due. The rep informed me that the calls could possibly double, and the best thing I could do was pay the amount they showed as past due. I told them to come get the car if they wanted. It's a 2003 Chevy that's falling apart and if they want it, they can have it. Suddenly, I only owed them 160.00, but when I refused to pay that (because I don't owe it) the rep got very hostile and told me I was being difficult. I basically told her to go to hell, and hung up. Now the calls are continuous, 15-20 call a day. I think I will try the suggestion of using different voices and asking them really stupid questions and see if they will just go away! LOL

Got a call today that was answered by my answering machine.  There was a foreigner slaughtering every English word he attempted to speak.  I made out my name and the phone number he left but could not decipher the garbled company name or why he was calling.  The caller ID simply stated UNKNOWN CALLER.  I found the number on here and will not call it back.  I don't have any type account with the company mentioned here and as several have said, will make sure I don't because of their tactics.  Needless to say I will not be calling him back and hope the calls don't start rolling in like they did with the low life auto warranty companies last summer.

This is a Scam!!!  My Close family member was behind on their car payment and it got repossessed.  This number started calling and threatening them so they sent all their money to "Christian Maldonado" with HSBC and they were suppose to get their car back.  Finally I suggested to them to call a different number for HSBC and they did.  They found out that all of the money that was not sent to HSBC and therefore their car was sold.  Don't Trust Anyone from this number Call Main HSBC Numbers.

Just got my 1st call from 800-366-6469.  The man with a Indian/Pakistani region accent asked for Valentine Maldonado (not me).  I took me several attempts to understand him.  I told him wrong number.  But the guy repeated my number.  I hope that was the last call.  I've never dealt with HSBC.  My phone is a work phone (blackberry) that I've had for a year.

HSBC Auto keeps calling me even after I make the due date payment on time. They call to get a " verifiable payment date" I usually say I'll pay on the due date but they want it " Recorded "on their system  ..They start calling me a day or so after I make the payment. Sometimes I'll make 2 full  payments in a month but if I miss a payment by one day the calls come all day long..I Ignore them ..it is rude..and the foreign operators are also rude with no emotion..
I can't wait to get rid of these payments as they have hassled me since I purchased this new car  2 years ago..

These people call at all hours of the day and night - I no longer answer the phone. They are annoying for the times of day they call, as late as 9 at night...we have no loans with anyone (I understand this is an HSBC auto scam)....we are on the "do not call" list so I have no idea how these jerks got our number - but they call 5-6 times a week and it needs to stop.

Would like to have these people stop calling----they are very rude and when questioned--they hang up.  You can try to call them back but you are asked to put your last 4 digits of your SSN and or acct #----you cannot get through to them.  Please make them STOP !!!!!!

2/25/10   These people call 4 and 5 times a day.  We have told them to remove our name from the list.  I am going to report them to our phone service provider to see what they can do.

My pymt was due on the 25th, They started calling a day later. I finely gave them a half pymt, two wks later they automatic decided they would take more money from my account without my permission. I
called them back and the only thing I can do is send a copy of my bank statement showing them that their fake draft ck they sent to my bank, they would repay my account in three working days. That was illegal to draft money from my account with no authorization. I will not authorize a draft ck to them again.

These people call 5-8 times a day, starting at 8 am. This harrassment and intimidation needs to stop NOW!!!

Calls 4-5 times a day for my roommate who is working all day. I work nights, they repeatedly refuse to change their call schedule at my request. Will be made into a police matter if they continue as their auto dialer is broken and no one is on the line when I answer and that constitutes harassment.

This company should be fined big time for what they do, we are getting calls from them at least 15 times a day, Saturday and Sunday also, I thought that was against the law.  I don't do business with them. I answered one time and was told to hold the line. My hasband is very ill and it's really sad that we have to deal with this.  What in the heck can we do about this?  PLEASE HELP

this number just started calling me yesterday, they called 3 times yesterday, and asked for someone that i don't know, i told them they have a wrong number and not to call anymore as i have a pay as you go phone, it costs me 25 cents a min.  now today they have called4 times again. i again tolds them its a wrong number. and their calls are costing me. how do i get them to stop. ? i'm getting tired of this crap.

This number has called me repeatedly so I have stopped answering the phone.  I'm sure it is a bill collector but I am tired of the constant arguing and demanding of money I don't have.  I cannot even afford my medications at the present time but I will work out a payment plan if they will work with me.  Constant calling is not going to work!
