they have been calling me at least twice a day for the past three weeks - I don't even have a loan, let alone a mortgage as I pay for everything in cash and cash only.  it's a good thing I turned on blocking mode on my phone.  now my phone doesn't ring when they call but does say "missed call."  they've called four times just today.

After I bought my house over 5 years ago, the loan had been transferred and sold more times then I can count.  It finally ended up with GMAC Mortgage, and I'm sorry for that.  I've tried to get it through another company, or even a second mortgage, just so I don't have to deal with them.  They call REPEATEDLY back to back throughout the day, even when I'm at work.  I don't have my cell at work because it is a governmental job and they accused me of avoiding them and threatened to take "steps" against me.  Also during the government shutdown, while other mortgage companies were giving people who were effected that month off and tacking it onto the end, they refused and said maybe I should have thought of that before I took the job.  I wish of all the mortgage companies to shut down, they were the first.

I too am never late on my payments but I have began receiving these calls, I contacted GMAC and they told me the following:

Now it appears to be a number for Ocwen Loan Servicing.  They called me about a dozen times in 5 days...I've never had an account with this company, had never heard of them until they started phone-spamming me.  I used someone else's tip of pressing 1111 and got a person.  (There are automated prompts to provide your SSN--do NOT do this!)  The person promised to make the calls stop within 24 hours.  He said they were trying to reach someone who's delinquent on their loan, and they either were given a false number or they mistyped the number & typed mine instead, by chance.

I am actually a foreclosure attorney that represents Ocwen.  I have always paid my mortgage on the 15th no matter what company I have had my loan with.  This is the first company that has done this.  Starting on the 2nd they call my cell phone several times a day.  I have it set up so it just hangs up on them.  When I have spoken to them I inform them I represent them in foreclosures, the note states it is not late until after the 15th and calling me prior to there being a default is a violation of the FDCPA.  They still do it.  Idiots.

I keep getting multiple calls from this number without them identifying who they are and why they are calling.

I got a call this evening.  Told me they were attempting to collect a debt...really?? My account is paid thru DEC! Then asked me if I just make a payment ...then told me the call was in error....

I have received several calls from this number and they are ruid and unprofessional.  They should not be allowed to contact people.  I will not disclose any further info because if they are ligit they should already have this info and need this info to ruin u do not answere any questions just hang up dont give them the power to get better at their jobs!!!  Don't ever tell anyone who calls u your info they should already know all that and confirm that with you and always have a secret password or name or something to confirm they are who they are!!!  It's ALL A SCAM!!!  REMEMBER DONT ANSWER ANY QUESTIONS JUST HANG UP!!!

It is 100% a Scam,  I called them back and interrogated the person that answered.  He could not answer any of my questions.  I have no problems with my mortgage at all.  I sure hope that this gets checked into from the proper authorities.  The person in which I spoke too, his first name was Joseph with a ID number as follows, 22827

This company calls ALL THE TIME. You call the number and there is no way to speak to an actual blood-sucking human. You have to enter an account number. So, if someone is using your personal information to commit fraud, you can't get ahold of these a-holes is order to tell to buzz off.

That is actually not true. It is GMAC Mortgage, but they start calling you if you don't pay your payment by the 5th. Even if you pay it before the 15th, they will call you daily a few times a day until you pay it. It has NOTHING to do with being in foreclosure or close to it.

I just filed a complaint on this problem with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau
@ consumerfinance.gov (855) 411-CFPB (2372). Loans have a 15 day grace period and GMAC told me that as long as the payment is received within that grace period there is no problem... I have never been late, assessed any late fees or missed a payment. OCWEN is servicing their loans but they must also abide by the grace period. When GMAC handled their own collections I NEVER got a call if the payment was sent after the 1st of the month. 800.850.4622 shows as GMAC calling when its actually OCWEN and under collection laws, this is deceptive practices...Check out Rip Off Report under OCWEN there are hundreds of complaints on them...

These Basters are telemarketer from GMC mortgage, If you talk with them you ended to pay something or replace your loan with high level of cost for you. Do not answer them

They had to sell my mortgage due to their own financial mismanagement last year.  Why in God's name are they calling me three or four or more times a day!?!?  And, I'm sorry, but if you call me and a recording states "Please hold because all of our agents are busy...". I'm hanging up the damned phone!!!!!

Recording asking me to remain on the line for the next available operator.  I hung-up.  Our mortgage company used to be with GMAC, but was sold to OCWEN when GMAC went under.  Our payments are on time.

I have been geting calls from this number they are from Ocwen Loan Servicing LLC. They are out of Waterloo, IA
They started calling me on 6-14-13 stating my home mortgage is not paid. My payments are taken out of my bank every month on the 11Th and are sent by ETF. They called  as many as seven times a day. stating my payment is not made. My bank shows they got the payment.   HOPE THAT YOUR loan does not get transferred to this company They have NO Customer Service to help you. They are a collection company for the mortgage company. You will not be able to talk to person in the US. The others # are 1800-766-4620.      GOOD LUCK  OCWEN LOAN Servicing is THE worst.

I've had a mortgage with GMAC since 2003. I have never, ever had to pay a late penalty, because I'm never late. The mortgage is due on the 15th, with a two week grace period. On the 17th, they start calling.
Today it was unbelievable ... and some of today's calls (2:01 on) came in after I received my payment confirmation email:
Times of calls: 8:24; 8:24(M); 10:54; 10:54(M); 12:57(M); 2:01;3:10; 3:11(M); 4:27(M); 4:28; 6:24(M); 6:24; 7:55.
That's THIRTEEN times my phone rang from these idiots today, and my payment IS ALREADY PAID! And it wasn't late to begin with!
I'm sending them a letter telling them to stop calling me. I think they have to stop when they get it in writing.
