This is a debt collector trying to get you to call back about a medical bill.  He called my work about wanting the number for payroll.  He used the name of Alex Fredrickson and left the number 800-859-0162 ext 246 and a ref number.  I do owe a small medical bill that I sent the check in for so we will see what comes of it.  They left no name for the company.

Got this weird phone call from a local cell number 425-608-3190 and gave this same 800-529-0162 but ext 234. He gave his name as Alex Fredrickson.  He called me by my nick name (none of my bills are in this name) so I knew it was fraudulent.  This is a scam guys.

Got a call from a 425 phone number but the man left a voicemail with the 800-859-0162 (ext 229) on my voice mail.  He didn't say why, just said "give me a call back at..."
I deleted it.  I do owe medical bills, but this seems a little phishy anyway.

Got a phone call from this number but they left no message except call them and no company name and the man who left the message was purposely slurring his words (except the phone number, that you can hear fine).  A few of us listened to the message but couldn't understand who he was or what he was calling about so I looked this number 800-859-0162 to see who out of the total blue was calling me and I found this information.  So it's crap!  This should not be allowed.  I don't owe anyone and I don't like being harassed by some stranger on the phone.

Received a message on my job on a Saturday from Brian Phillips.  Did not return phone call.

Cathy/Caty?  Just called me.  Funny.

My mom got a call from "Michael Lufken" (Spelling?).  He gave numbers for 1-800-859-0162 and 425-771-7229.  He said something similar to what's been mentioned here, was vague, mentioned "immediate reolution," etc.  I advised my mom not to call back because it sounded suspicious.  Still haven't called and likely won't after reading posts.  Thanks all for taking the time to contribute.

She called my girlfriend and ask for 200$, unpaid doctor bills. actually Patty told her that she forget to pay the doctor fee which is preposterous because at the ER the MD fee is included in the bill. My girlfriend told her that she will pay as soon as possible but i found out about it. tomorrow i will call the hospital and see what is going on. I really appreciate the postings guys, it helps a lot people like me and it is good that we can find the scam collection agencies.

This was a call from a 'Kathy', who was looking for my step-son. She named no company or reason for calling, but she made it sound urgent and slightly intimidating. I don't know how she got my cell phone number, or why she's after my step-son, but I Googled the name & number, and then warned him.

Today he called again and gave a last name... Michael (Lufkin?)

A man named Michael called looking for my boyfriend on my phone... They tried to tell him he owed some money for some old doctor's bills and said that he could take care of it over the phone by paying them off with his credit card... My boyfriend was smart enough to figure out it was a scam!!! He asked them to send him a bill, and the bill never came... Now they're calling again!!!

Very unprofessional - this person leaves a message to the effect: "this is cathy please call me for immediate resolution......no mention of whom she wants to talk to........"  Ha ha ......and it is a cellphone......no valid bsuiness has my cellphone number.....when you call the number.....they make it out to be a "debt collection service". This is how I KNEW this is a fraudulent business - I am one of the few people who does not owe a SINGLE PENNY to anyone!
