Caller ID says Toll Free Caller.  It was the Los Angeles Times (perhaps an affiliate of the Chicago Tribune.)

I doubt it's really Chicago Tribune.  I bet you the scammers are spoofing the caller ID.  They always do to hide their real identity.

this number called me twice today, and i looked it up and found this page.  i emailed the address autumn listed above, and she emailed me back immediately!  she confirmed my number and the number that was calling me, and then said she'd have her supervisor put me on the do not call list.  very easy to take care of if you just email them.

I wnat to turn this number for harrassment!!!!

Daily calls for the last couple of weeks, less frequently before then but still they come.  I have replied to Autumn Smith as posted on 5/12/2011, but doubt anything will change.  It does make you want to drop the paper.

chicago tribune subscription service.  our subscription ran out about 3 weeks ago and they continue giving us papers.  said since we didn't cancel we owe them for the 3 weeks service, unless we just renew.

Got a call from this number saying "Congratulations on winning $450,000.  Please call me back to verify your mailing address and, again, Congratulations."  Yah, right.

It's the Chicago tribune subscription number.  I just recently canceled my subscription and now they are calling me all the time trying to get me to join again.

Phone call on February 26, 2011 at 11:58 AM . Older man called asking for my husband. He hung up before my husband picked up the phone.

I got a call 6 times from this number in the past 3 days. Sounds of silence on the other end every time. Probably an auto-dialer. If no one there is available to complete the call, they will keep trying and we get silent air. Convenience and efficiency for them...damn annoying and rude for us!!

Honestly, if this is how newspapers are run these days I can see why people are canceling. I've had at least 20 hang-up calls from their number. I finally got through and requested to be removed from their call list because I can't understand why they'd keep harassing people like this.

So far I've received YET ANOTHER hang up call from the tribune number since requesting to be removed from the list.

If you call back the #, it is the Chi Trib call center.   Amazing that they are not open during the times I receive calls.  
They are calling on my cell, which is on the Do Not Call List and NOT the # on my subscription.    I  currently get the the Sunday paper, but that will be canceled after the next call.  I've also asked them to stop sending me spam to my email.

Called at 8am sharp today, I didn't wake up in team to grab it. I did cancel a subscription I never really wanted with the Trib recently. Didn't call back, went back to sleep.

Chicago Tribune Subscription Services.  I called them back and they asked if I had received my first paper (I'm new to the Tribune).  I didn't mind the call.  It was nice they checked on me.

This number continues to call my house. When I answer, no one says a word. It's becoming a pain.

I received 8 calls from this number in a span of 4 hours!  I have never subscribed to the trib, and I have enrolled my home number on the do not call list!

I get a call at least times a day - no one there. It's the Chicago Tribune Subscription service. I cancelled my subscription as a result of these calls and told them not to call me anymore - they still do.

They have called 9 times since yesrerday.  One time today I could tell there was someone there, but everytime they didn't say anything!!!

I dont think this is a Chicago tribune no. I searched the chicago tribune web site, they dont have this no.
