This phone number is listed in HUNDREDS of condo ads on Craigslist. They have the SAME picture, SAME description, and SAME price listed on "condos" in (just what I found) LA, NYC, Madison, WI, and New Haven, CT. DEFINETELY a scam!

Did not receive a call but noticed an apartment for rent in San Francisco at a suspiciously low price on Craigslist. Googled the phone number and found 1) this blog and 2) a scam alert for a similar property in Northland Kansas. Beware!!

I was looking for Apartments online, this was the number to call about a Condo on the verge of foreclosure. Looked like a really sweet deal, so I called the number. It turns out that they are a company that helps homes on the verge of forclosure by getting people in there to "Rent to Own" kind of a deal.
My issue is, they wanted my Credit or Debit Card number over the phone. They said it was to charge me $1.95 and they will email me a user name and password to log in to there site and see everything they have available. But, they would not give me ANY real info until I give them my number.
Anyone know if this a legit business? Sounds fishy to me, but I am paranoid about giving out my info!!
