i got a call from this # and the caller ID Showed up as 650 419 2892 local area code to me Redwood City
the woman said can you have xxx xxxx call me on an urgent message at 1 800 949 3217 and she gave me a file # 2007 xxx xxxx It sounded very urgent and I could not believe that they used a local caller ID.

A Mrs Brown called and said she was calling about the estate of a deceased person, no relation to me, then says call her back at MRS Associates and gives a reference number... First thing I did was check here and obviously it's a collection call. Weird, they're trying to get people to call thinking they have an inheritance waiting...

I get calls from this number almost everyday. I answered the first time they called and they asked for someone who previously had my phone number (I have had this number for the past 5 years).  I explained this to them and they said they understood and would take my number off the list, but they still call - I don't answer and they don't leave a message.  I can only guess that the person who previously had my phone number died, and these scumbags are trying to collect some bogus debt from his relatives.

They keep calling me asking for a woman who died almost a year ago.  They tell me if I'm not her, to give them a call.  I think they are perhaps scam artists.

Also called from 800-949-3217 - it's the same people. The number
showing on my phone was actually 213-261-0018. A recording, a british sounding woman's voice. It must be a bill collector, or scam. They don't identify themselves even once.
