I was 2 days late on a payment, had already spoken to someone almost two weeks before due date to let them know that since my daughter had gone to the emergency room and I had to pay up front because of some complications with insurance, I would be unable to pay on time. They called my cell phone while I was at work and when I told the Pashti wench that I already made them aware of the situation, she asked if she could post date a check for me. I politely declined and she said that it would be easier for both of us if I would just agree to it. I said a stern no, and she still persisted. I told her I was at work and would call back and as I was hanging up, I heard her say "I understand sir but if you could please........"

This person calls me, and when i say something, they hang up on me... I find it really weird that HSBC, if that is who this ism, would do that... Im going to file a cease communication letter and mail it to them and see if that works.

They told me the only way for me to stop receieving phone calls what to write them so if any of you would like to write them the mailing address is: HSBC Retail Services, PO Box 703, Wood Dale, IL 60191. They will not help my with my intrest rate nor payments. They don't even take into consideration that I've never missed a payment yet they accuse me of missing them.... They are a bunch of scam artists!!!!!

You've started calling for the money owed on a number of credit cards. Thanks to this wonderful economy, I'm struggling to keep food on the table. Needless to say, I cannot pay you guys a penny. But it has to be said anyway. Oh well, I tried working with my credit card peeps but all they did was jack my rates to the point I could no longer make the minimums.

So now it's survival mode until I get enough cash to file for bankruptsy. At least then the calls will stop. That is unless they turn off the phone first!

HSBC has called me on a daily basis. Six times a day on my cell phone, Four times a day on my home number. Yes I am late on my card by only 15 days I talked to them on the first 3 calls and told them that i am making my payment on the 15th for the current amount and the small past due amount but they still keep calling me 10 times a day. Apparently talking to them dosn't seem to help at all.

We started receiving numerous calls from 1-800-959-1373 this week. Up to 10 times a day -- our line has caller ID and is a nonlisted number. When I called it back they said they were a finance company for a credit card. Have never heard of them. They asked about a certain name that was associated with the number and I said I had never heard of them. The woman said she would remove our number from the list... I asked how she knew the number. She said she could see it through caller ID. I said I wasn't even calling from the number that had received the numerous calls. So they had two of our numbers associated with two completely different people and evidently these people are out there using erroneous phone numbers when they sign up for credit cards... therefore we get the hounding phone calls. They definitely need a better system for screening their applicants. The calls better stop.

HSBC handles my Bowflex account, and though it is up to date they call between 7-10 times a day, leave no message, and call at all hours of the day from the 800-959-1373 and 800-365-2027. I've done everything i can to get the call to stop but with no luck.

I called the 800-959-1373 after approximately 30 calls in less than three days. I did get a human who said they were HSBC and asked my account number. I politely said I didn't have an account number and she asked if I had gotten called from the number. I said yes, 10 times per day. She asked the phone number, which I provided. She then said my number was associated with a name (she gave me the actual name which amused me) and I said that person was not at this number (Its a new number from AT&T for my business). She said she would remove the number. I said thank you. We'll see what happens.

Well I finally did it, I called 1-800-959-1373, These calls are about, a late forgotten payment, lost statement, wrong e-mail address, whatever! If you call this number, a friendly person will answer and straighten this all out for you! It's EASY, so call them and get that MONKEY off your back. No more calls for me.

I spoke with someone who called me from this exact same number on Dec. 12th, 2009. When I found out why they were calling I was mortified. In Oct. of 2008 I had opened an account at a David's Bridal store for my daughter's upcoming wedding. I was planning to pay up front, but a store clerk offered me what seemed like a great opportunity... to make monthly payments for a year, interest free. I decided maybe that'd be a good idea since there wasn't much monthly income.

I KNOW I wrote on the application MAILING ADDRESS: PO Box _ _ _ , since we have no mail receptacle at our house. I can say with an absolutely clear conscience that I completely forgot that I had not paid the bill in full at the time of purchase, since that was my original intention. During the course of the year I never received a credit card from this company, nor a single statement telling me the balance of my account, or where to make payments... NOT a single piece of correspondence. Then, over 1 yr. later, I began getting constant phone calls from 1-800-959-1373.

Suddenly, they are now able to contact me !! Amazing !!  I finally decided to answer the phone to tell whoever it was that kept calling us from that number to STOP calling. I spoke to a man who actually seemed to be understanding. When I was reminded of the charge I had made at David's Bridal I wanted to rectify the situation as quickly as possible. He accepted my immediate payment in the amount of the original purchase , and he told me he would even waive the usual fee for paying over the phone. He mentioned that David's Bridal (or perhaps it's actually HSBC) had noted on my account that all the statements were being returned. They never once sent the bill to the address I gave as our mailing address. I also was never called concerning this, but they sure had my phone number when they'd added a bunch of extra charges to my account !!! I asked him about forgiveness of the additional late charges and finance fees due to the nature of my lack of payments; this was completely out of my control... ( I never received any statements !!)

I feel that my rights were violated because I was denied a process by which I could pay off the amount due, in equal payments, completely paying off the original amount within the 12- month interest- free timeline. This man told me to call the number above and speak with someone there. He said they were the only ones who could actually remove the additional charges of late fees and finance charges. I called this number. This man, too, seemed pretty understanding after I explained everything. He told me he would put me on hold and speak with his "boss" or someone else higher up ( I would imagine.) When he returned he told me they would drop all the charges, and that I had a zero balance !! I was very stressed out; I was crying over the whole issue, and I was grateful for a person who seemed understanding of the circumstances and would make the situation right !!

WELL... soon after that I began receiving statements, now that they finally sent them to the correct address, and they reflected my payment of the original purchase price. However, all the other charges remained on there !!! Nothing had changed. The charges, in just two months or less were in an amount of about 40% of the original purchase !! Besides the fact that that is an exorbitant amount, I was NOT at fault here and I REFUSE to pay this low-life company who is trying to rip people off left and right. I was told that I had a zero balance, and I, in good faith, believed the gentleman I spoke with over the phone. I didn't think he was trying to rip me off, but I can tell you now that this decision to charge at David's Bridal has become a nightmare !!!  Never, EVER, EVER again will I do any business with HSBC !!!   If I had known that it stood for Hong Kong Shanghai Banking Corporation I would have turned down the interest-free financing offer. They call repeatedly, every Sat. starting at 9 am. They call several times every day. They never leave a message. I refuse to answer the phone any more. I want this harrassment to STOP !!  I am doing everything I can think of to make this nightmare end.

Received calls from 8009591373, now identified as Sony Retail Services, sometimes multiple calls in one day.  I have blocked the number on my phone but it is still annoying to get the call because it rings one time before it cuts off.  There should be some legal means to stop these calls. They amount to harrassment.
