I keep getting phone calls from that number.

We got nailed for $3000 - Name used is P&M Diesel 8226 S Garcia St, Port Isabel, TX 78578, 888-576-0664.

I received a fax from 888-221-2960 from someone calling themselves Offshore Legal Firm, a division of Optimum Mobile Diesel Service.  This fax was asking me to call  a Josef Louis regarding an estate of the late John Grant.  Our company was mentioned in the will worth $7,520,000.  They gave a phone # 800-599-3142 and another fax #888-370-3157. They give their websiteaslaw@bmchambersattorneyoline.com  There is no doubt this is a scam.

Just got a fax from "Optimum Mobile Diesel Service" of Gadsden AL, from (000) 221 2000 . The number is associated with VOIP services like Skype. This one is signed Jeffrey O. McCoy and he wants a quote on some video camera gear. There's no reason for him to be wantig to order from us at such a liong distance from his location.

Fortunately, we got on to this and contacted the local police who have an active investigation on this, they are also working with the FBI on this , due to the international aspect.

Received order from Optimum Mobile Diesel Service in Riverside CA.  Credit card used John Sparks. CAT engine parts.  They are getting much better at this.  Complete stationary with logo looks quite official.  I almost fell for it, except when the po said to add sales tax to the order. I don't know any diesel service facility that is willing to pay sales tax.

I received a fax this morning stating the same 800 # contact info and thought it looked suspicous to me.  The are using the name "P & M Diesel" with an address of 1100 Century Court in Franklin, TN.  My business is located in middle TN and I know Franklin very well and never recalled seeing a company by this name in Franklin, TN.  They were looking for quotes on several PC's and a bunch HP toner/inkjet cartridges.  I Googled the 800 # and found this forum.  What a bunch of losers!  I hope someone scams them so they will know how it feels to be taken advantage of.

Received a fax request for a quote for HP supplies and Phaser 6360 printer which is a Xerox product.  I thought it was strange too.  I returned a quote at MSRP (highest price out there) and they faxed back this morning that they accepted the quote with credit card information.  This was from Optimum Mobile Diesel Service in Winston-Salem, NC but wanted shipped to Wilson, NC.  None of the numbers, company name or web address given was valid - glad I found this posting.  Beware.

I guess he is shooting a little smaller now, only asking for about 1500.00.
I just need to say thank you all for posting here as I would have wasted time on this run around.

Isn't technology great! Got the same fax. Contact name was John Sparks....even talked to him on the phone and didn't sound like John...sounded more like Achmed. Was biting on this opportunity, but too many indicators of the what, where, who and how of business raised my suspicion. Therefore, I googled the info and ran across comments from all across the U.S. I am on the phone now, calling my local competitors to warn them. Thanks to all for the feedback

He got us.  We lost over $4k but we found out the bank the credit cards belonged to and called them up and gave them the rest of the credit card numbers he had given us.  His name was James Bradley (w/ a heavy accent).  He contacted us thru email and fax first.  Then gave us a call for the second order that he placed.  They always use email first.

They are at it again under another name.I got this fax 11/23/09 wanting the same HP toner.

Just received the fax from Everest Truck Center at 99 Bow St. Everett,Ma. (866)556-1571 X-101 James Bradley. They are looking for HP-toners. These people must be hitting the whole country. The first sign it was fake was the Logo on the letter. A crane hook lifting a steel beam? What's that have to do with trucks. Then I searched on google,ect. and nothing came up. Then checked phone# and that brought me to this site. All I can say is be careful. No one will help or try to stop these scumbags. You would think groups like BTA or the BBB would warn dealers about these frauds, but they don't. Your on your own. It's inviting to get an order like that but you have to be aware of great amounts of fraud in this world. We get these requests on a regular basis mostly via e-mail. Most of the time they type broken English and can't spell.  These scumbags ruin it for the good people. You will always be on your defensive now. It only takes a few minutes to see if a company is legit. It will save a great deal of agravation

Apparantly this scumbag is still around looking for a quote for toner. Just received a fax for a price quote for everest truck center James Bradley in Everett,MA 99 Bow St. I checked the name,no such company exists and the phone# came up flagged 866-556-1571 X-101. We get this alot.  The credit card companies are to blame for allowing this and not notifying the vendor in time but they are quick to suck the money back out of the account. It's bad enough you make little profit to begin with on those items but to loose the merchandise and the money double sucks.

James Bradley of Everest Truck Center wants to order 4 sets of colored toner cartridges for a laserprinter which is worth $2000.00 for a set, that's for a total of $8000 not including tax and shipping.

If he is in Valencia, CA (where is Valencia,CA?) why does he have to order them in San Francisco? I wish I could post his faxed letter.

I found it strange they are located in a shopping mall.
I think I'll string them along and get some credit card numbers.
Did that to another scammer once and he supplied 4 numbers. I called the
bank and had them all cancelled, then told him they were no good and could I get some more. The fererales won't do anything. I was told they weren't interested in anything less than $100K.

Also look out for Optimum Mobil Diesel.  They are using different companies.  I recevied my fax the same time you did witht he same location.  I'm glad I googled it.

The name they are using this time is James Bradley and the delivery is supposed to be going to Signal Hill Ca. We almost been had this morning until I got suspicous and sure enough I googled and spotted these comments.  Keep in mind this is the time of year when all the scammers come out.

Hello Janet, I just recvd a fax form this character for a quote on toners amounting to 4000.00.  I really got suspicpouse becase i know thy could have gotten these at a better price somewhere else.  So I googled the company and saw all of these comments form you and others.  We must be careful.  This is the time of year when all the scammers go wild.  I just wish there was a way we can cath these fools.

Seems he has moved to Texas. I got the same fax request for toner and prices. I to thought it was odd and googled it. Thanks to yall for the info. It saved us from sending the stuff out.
