They identified themselves as drive time, calling about my on-line application.  I didn't apply for anything and they were calling for the guy who have my phone number 4 years ago.   Sounds like a marketing scam they're doing.

This number is a telemarketer. Please do not pick up. They drive you crazy.

called my work number.  i called them back and said i didn't apply, i already have a car, and take my number off their records.

nothing is wrong with drive time. I've been with them for 8 months now.
Their interest rate is high but I'm dealing with it because I'm almost 40 and have always paid cash for everything. its hightime i built some credit.

If you apply at Road Loans they give your info to Drive Time. They keep calling me at 8AM during my commute to work so I can't answer. Not sure why they are calling when there is not even a Drive Time location within a 100 miles of me!

It is DriveTime, I had an app't yesterday, 07/25/11, but had to call and cancel due to got to work and no job, thought that was good to go, nope.  They really want my business I guess.  Guess I'll call them again and tell them no.

I have gotten calls from them this week. They do identify themselves as Drivetime when they leave a message. They just call my work number, never the cell phone.

this number calls me about 3 times during my work day and 4 times tonight up until 8:30pm!  They never leave a message.  I reported them to the Do Not Call company, but i still don't know who they are.  Any ideas?

This is Drive Time.  It's likely that they are calling you because you have recently run a credit application through their website.

Yeah they called me within about 8 minutes. I thought they were suppossed to email you the approved or not approved. I didn't answer because I dont answer 1800 numbers on my cell.

This number is for Drivetime.  I applied online through a broker (i think it was Autocreditloans.com?) and Drivetime was the only company they put me in touch with.  I've read some horrible reviews on pissedconsumer.com, but I guess one would only write a bad review on THAT website. If you are short on cash, have less than stellar credit and don't mind getting a late model car, this may be for you.  I was looking for a loan but had a specific car in mind and Drivetime couldn't provide those options for my needs. If you aren't interested and they are calling you, just tell them that you already purchased a vehicle.

They calle dto tell me I was approved - however I have a vehicle with them alread that is a piece of JUNK and I have called them to tell them to come & get it.  

I am not paying for this stupid car that doesn't even run correctly (and hasn't since 30 days after I drove it off the lot).  They say the mechanical issue isn't covered by their joke of a warranty.  Then, they can fix it and give it to someone else!!

I was called by 800-965-8042. I never called them nor applied for anything. They took my number off the internet. It's a spam call.

The voicemail they left? "Hi, this is Teresa with drive time. I'm calling in regards to your approved online applications. I would be more than happy to assist you, please return my call at 1(800) 965-8042 Thanks and Have a great day."

yes i applied- online.  I apply online because i don't like being hassled by loan agents who bully people, i dealt with that all day yesterday in person.  They called me at 801am this morning!!! Very rude if you ask me, cuz not only is it super early, they don't even have the courtesy of leaving a freaking message!!! WTF?

I have never applied for any services with Drive Time.  After reciving two missed messages on my cell in one morning, I called them back and told them they had the wrong number.  They apologized and said they wouldn't call again.

Please tell me more about Drive Time stories.What is wrong? and more.Please i need to know because i went there for car.

If you apply online, then why don't they email you?  When I applied online, I chose the option of 'Evening Phone' for my preferred callback.  They called back during the day while I was at work.  I didn't receive an email, which it promised on the website after submitting my info.  That doesn't make me want to do business with them as they seem unprofessional from the beginning.

Yeah, it is Drive Time calling. I made the mistake and applied before I heard the horror stories. If I received the call I wouldn't answer. Drive Time is a joke.

I used to work for DriveTime.  The only way they would call you is if you apply for financing on line, or someone who did apply for financing, gave the wrong number.  It was so frustrating that people would apply to us for financial help then act like jerks when we call.  90% of the calls are asking if you are still wanting a loan and if not, they close the application.  They will continue to call until you tell them you are no longer interested, since they cannot close your application without your permission.  If you don't want them to call, be an adult and say, thanks but no thanks and that will be the end of it.
