Had a female call asking for my ss number i asked for what purpose she said she could not tell me until i verified my identity. You idiots called me you should already know who your calling im not furnishing my info so you can do your job. Besides they never verified who they were lol

These PRC folk assume the person they are calling are guilty.  That is their first mistake.  I had a moronic business try to reactivate a service I had cancelled years ago and charge me for it.  In the end, my lawyer and I prevailed and their charges were bogus.  PRC pushed the issue as if I owed money.  They could not be more wrong.

PRC needs to clean up their act and STOP assuming the companies they collect for are honest.  Do not ever trust these people.

I don't know who this is but I have been on the do not call registry  and they still call.  This is not only maddening it should be illegal.  I don't answer any number that is blocked or unknown to me because I also get hateful calls from collection services for other people and they don't believe me when I say they have a wrong number.  What can be done with these cretins?

Called today and advised they were collecting for a gas company.  I told her yes we owe the debt but I will pay the gas company directly when I am able.  Caller says: "Well we work for the gas company."  I say you dont, you are a debt collector who purchased the debt, and I do not pay debt collectors.  I pay the actual debtor. She went on and on.  So I disconnected call and added the number to my blocked list.  It is a utility so of course it will be paid, just not to them.  I do not like debt collectors tactics

Can we have your personal home or cell number to call and harass you several times daily, be rude and insulting, threaten you about someone else's debt? That would be lovely and fair.

And I highly doubt the 'president' of a real, busy company has time to sit around responding to threads on a website about how crass and unprofessional your employees are. You should read the other websites, going back years, about your 'business' as well.

People DO NOT email this person, they will then have another way to harass you by sending you nasty emails, if they were not willing to listen on the phone, what makes you think they will pay any attention to what you have to say in an email, they just want more information about you! They are rude, and are the scumbags of the earth, they buy old debt from companies that have already written you off as a loss, and now they are trying to collect on a debt they say you owe them, YOU OWE THEM NOTHING. Illegal freaking immigrants trying to collect money from Americans.

Just got one from them today, the guy spoke so low I couldn't understand him, the only part I really caught was this is a collection call trying to collect a debt

They called me and would not identify the nature of the call. I told them I would not release any information until I knew who they were and why they are calling. The rude person finally hung up. I called the number back and got the same treatment regarding the identity of the "business" and the nature of the call. They transferred me to the person who called and it was just a repeat of the first call.

No sane or competent person reveals personal information to a total stranger. Reading this is a collection agency makes it even more baffling as I only owe on my mortgage, which is paid directly from my checking account.

I would need more detail on your account to answer your question.  We don't "Robocall".  If we have the wrong person, please let us know so we can remove the number.

Insults are really unnecessary.  If our staff isn't removing a phone number, then that needs to be corrected, please call and speak to a supervisor. Our call center isn't open 7 days a week or after 8pm on any day, so we are not calling during those times. It appears this account has been closed in our system.

I hadn't responded, because I have not revisited the site.  I am happy to respond to anyone that feels they have been mistreated.  No one we hire is illegal and it is an honorable way to make a living.  You shouldn't judge.  If you want to call me from 8am to 9pm, the number is listed on this thread.

We do everything to make sure what we are complying with the law, however we do employ human beings, so no one is perfect.   I am sorry to hear that your Mom felt threatened as that is never our intention.  Please contact us at the number listed and speak to our manager who will review the call.  Everyone is certainly not frustrated with dealing with our company, far from the truth.  We will protect ourselves in whatever means necessary if you feel the need to make official complaints on us by backing our actions with facts on the specific case.

This is a legitimate company and they did not steal your garbage.  The reason only the last 4 digits of a social are statement is to verify who they are talking to before disclosing the nature of the call, which debt collectors must do to protect, you the debtor.. If the first question they asked was for you to tell them what the last 4 of your social was, would you feel more comfortable? No, you wouldn't.  Most of the laws put in place to "protect" the consumer are the ones that actually confuse them and make them wonder why the debt collector has to be so secretive... Ironic.

Wasted my time with a 90-second pre-recorded voicemail on my cellphone that didn't identify the company at first, which tried to make it sound like some kind of horribly private information akin to a cancer diagnosis was about to be dispensed. And of course since i'm posting here, it turned out to be PRC trying to collect a debt from the last guy that had my cell number or something.

Guess what guys, if you're too damn lazy or cheap to update your number lists or have a real person call (my name is clearly stated in my voicemail greeting), i'll listen to what I please on *my* phone that you had no permission to call in the first place.

Its not legal for them to call your cell phone without you having given authorization to them. Send them a letter asking them to not call you but contact you in writing only. It eliminates their harassment

What a bunch of BS, it's a ROBOCALL, with a SPOOFED CALLER ID, leaving a message on VOICE MAIL!!

Spoofing the Caller ID so that the phone number is repeated twice is an excellent way to be disconnected.

I've got VOIP, so when the Caller ID is spoofed to just repeat the phone number, whomever pulls this trick can expect to be disconnected.

i have dealt with these people in regards to horrendous hospitals bills, everyone has always been professional and polite i have been unable to pay off the bills but they do try to work with you.

Apparently the US Government needs to hire a debt collections agency to collect supposed back owed taxes from almost 2 years ago... wtf? I don't think so. This will be the first and last time I answer a call from that number.

They keep calling from this number (and some other) asking for a Brandi "something". The thing is, it's always an automated call and *NONE* of the choices they give you apply for them having a wrong number.

I would love for them to stop calling, but I won't give them any personal info or say I'm someone I'm not just to get a real person on the line. If you really want to make your job easier (at least by trying to reach the right person instead of harassing someone else), then please add an option to remove the phone number from your list in your automated calls, or use a real person.

They call and verify who I am then hang up on me. They need some manners and or stay off my phone. I think they are some collection company.

a man left me a message and I had to listen to it twice because he deliberately garbbled his name so I would call back. I listened to the name and low and behold I have spoken to this man before - Charles Wofford I believe his name was. the last time I spoke to him was last year and he was given all the info he needed back then to contact the debt settlement company handling my debts. NO! I will not call you back! if the people you are working for wouldn't sit down and negotiate with a hard working individual who had been hit by these economic times, then they can deal with my debt settlement company and wait their turn in line!!
