I am on a same boat with you!  I believe FTC (Federal Trade Commission) got a judgement against John Beck Free and Clear LCC in 2012. I am not sure it is too late to claim our money loss, but I would like to join the lawsuit too.  I lost $5000 for signed up fee which never got refunded. I heard FTC won the judgement against them and I would like to know how I can be included/or be a part of it. I have all payment receipts to show.  Let me know ANYONE wants to know how to be a part of the judgement and lawsuit.  Thanks.

If a class action suit is filed that would be great, however, I just learned from my lawyer yesterday that a class action suit can only be done if they are calling a cell phone and not a landline.  In my case they are calling my landline.

Go read the first week of April's City Weekly folks, this is a scammer company in Utah that is responsible for scamming many out of thousands of dollars, and causing one member to commit suicide...drug infested scam outfit, really sad...don't fall into their trap.  company is called mentoring of america.

I got this call from this number with no name or left no message.  Does anyone know who this is?  I did not have the time to answer due to busy with patient care and not a known number for me to stop what I am doing to answer.  Oh well!!

I called them back and they hung up---twice---I know---shame on me.

I BELIEVE THESE TO BE A LOW CLASS RIP OFF. IF THEY KNEW ANYTHING ABOUT WINNING WHILE INVESTING IN OPTIONS, THEY WOULD TELL NO ONE. I BELIEVE ITS A SCAM. THEY KEEP CALLING ME TOO. SO FAR NO CHARGES ON MY CREDIT CARD BUT I EXPECT THEY WILL TRY TO START DRAINING IT SOON. I WILL CONTACT THE BANK TO STOP IT.

How do you stops these calls?  They call maybe once or twice a month.  I know who it is because I've looked up the number on the internet.  I don't want them to call anymore.  Once they called, not long ago, and I told them not to call me anymore and also that I've already told them this before and then I hung up!

This is a company out of Lindon Utah called MOA or Mentoring of American.  I can repossessed a number of their employees vehicles over the years.  Sounds like the quality of person they hire is in check with their business plans. Time and again when I get a "new" work number for someone I Google it and it turns up on a site like this with sad stories of good ppl getting taken advantage of.  It appears that they run a number of scams thru that place all with different names and pitches.  Sorry to hear about another victim.  Hope this information helps someone.

John Beck Free and Clear,  a true rip off!!They took me for $5,800.00 of which I did not have to loose. I called for a refund and was told that I could not get one because I signed the papers. I tried to stop payment on my credit card and found that the chargge was made minutes after the phone call, before any papers were signed. I did not have funds to hire an attorney to file a suit, so I had to pay off the debt along with the interest.

IF A CLASS ACTION SUIT HAS BEEN FILED, I WOULD LIKE TO BE A PART OF IT!!!

They have called several times.  Once they called, I answered and they asked for my husband which at the time was not home.  They have called since only letting the phone ring twice.  Fortunately, we have caller ID at the name that appears is American For UT.  I have done some internet searches but have not found anything.  We too are on a no call list.

I received 2 calls from this number today.  The first was at 1:11 pm EST and the second was at 3:18pm EST.  This first caller was asked to remove the number and never call again.  This is my second request to have the number removed.  Then the second call came and they had the audacity to leave a message.  This John Beck outfit is a scam and you can't get rid of them

I have gotten 3 calls within a week.  Never is there a message left.  I am also on the Do Not Call list.

I received two MORE calls from these people and have already instructed them to stop calling months ago.

This is an open invitation to anyone that received continued calls: I am going to sue this company for telemarketing in CA myself. I have a two-year degree in paralegal study and have put it to use successfully against the IRS on my own behalf. I would like to invite anyone interested to join me so that this can become a class action suit capable of far more than just what I would be able to alone. Personally, I cannot afford an attorney and wouldn't bother with one for this; I'd just put my training to use. I want this to be more than just me against them, I want this to be a class against law breakers. It is possible that a licensed attorney could be persuaded to represent this case if there are enough members.

801-216-3300 has called my number which is registered on the DO NOT CALL LIST
starting Oct 1 18 times to date.This caller leaves no mesages.I thought that the do not call listing had some deterent.It is looking like I am wasting my time and effort.Just to let you know since Oct 1 I have received 18 calls at various times of the day starting at 10:28 A.M. and ending at 8:44 P.M.They can ring till the cows come home,I will not answer any call that does not have a valid name and certainly not one which has no name.

Yep I think it's the John Beck Scam calling. Beware this is nothing but a scam! As soon as they get your credit card info they charge you bogus fees and don't stop. LOOK OUT FOR THIS ONE!
