my Dad received a phone call from 1-801-410-7131--he is hard of hearing and said that some women was on the phone but that he could not understand her--I called and it was a message that said the number was out of order.

Got called two days ago by this number. They tried the "Grandparent Scam" They identify as a member of your family. They had the first name right and said they needed money to get out of jail. When asked for a last name...and also the name of their mother they had no reply. Told them to have fun in jail. Hopefully they do catch these scam artists and put them there.

I got a call from this number 801-410-7131.  The man said - "Hello grandma".  I said who is this, he replied "me".  I said you have the wrong number and I hung up. He did have a slight accent.

I RECIEVED A CALL FROM THIS  TWICE TODAY, I DONT KNOW WHO IT IS NOR DO I KNOW ANYONE IN THIS LOCATION SO I NEVER ANSWERED THE CALL.

Drat!  I'd thought I'd won more millions of dollars and BMWs in the lottery again, but no.  This guy had an accent and said he was calling from Microsoft; that the pc had a virus.  I said it wasn't a good time, would he leave his number so we could call back.  He kept saying, "No, right now, it has to be right now."

Got a call in NJ from this # after 10 last night and didn't answer because caller ID said "Utah" but, it was actually a call from a friend who is a Comcast subscriber in NJ with a totally different phone #.  He left an answering message at the time of the call.  We have no explanation for the  erroneous caller ID.

Guy called me and said I had a virus on my computer - OK I'll play along - "Wow really" - I wrote down all the stuff he wanted me to run and laughed saying yeah yeah I'm running it - not. Told him my AV has locked me out and have to call admin. Asked him if could give me his EMAIL so I can send the "error."
he told me instead to go to www.360pcsupport.com

I know - I tried that too.

What do you do to report these calls?  Does it do any good?

Why is it when you call them back it dont go through?

I received a legitimate landline phone call from a family member in southwestern, PA with this number coming up on my caller ID. I see that 801-410-7130 has had similar complaints.  Something about a glitch in Time Warner's service.  I will check with them tomorrow to see if they have Time Warner for service but wanted to post this complaint tonight.

Arghhhhh- called fax line while printing 58 page general ledger for company and messed it up!

They called our number today and didn't leave a message. Glad we weren't home.

They tried the " grandparent scam" today from this number

Received call from this number, but get out of service when I try to call back.

They called 10:30 at night.  My husband picked up he said they wanted to verify my credit card.  He told them he didn't know what they were talking about and said take my number of the list. This is the 2ND time they called.

the caller from this number immediately hung up when I answered.  The call came from Salt Lake City, but when I tried calling it back I got a message that said "out of service".  If it is out of service how is this person using the number?????  Hope they can found out who it is.

I am so fed up with these type of calls.  Received a call this morning from 801-410-7131 - out of curiosity I answered to see who was calling from Salt Lake City.  Whoever it is immediately hung up - as I usually do I am reporting this call.

This number called 4 times in about 15 minutes. I will not answer Phone Numbers I do not know with out of state aria codes. I hope this is not going to be an issue. I am so sick of random Phone calls.

Got a call from this number - they asked to talk to the owner about a legal matter. I said I was the owner and he replied - no your not- you hestitated. I again asked what he wanted and he insisted I wasnt the owner, became rude and hung up.  Funny thing is - I am the owner. LOL

I just got a call from this number to my cell phone.

received seveal calls rom this number in the past few days and never leaves a message so I figured it was a scammer. As I see from here, I was right.

He has called many times, and hung up.  Finally had a dialogue and he was rather threatening, and THEN announced he was calling on behalf of New York City (even though calling from Salt Lake, Utah) to find out if people smoke.  Have reported him to the "Unlawful Calls" center and to the local police.  The calls are being traced.

Ignored the first call. Answered out of curiosity a half hour later. No response at the other end.

they called my house tday and didnt say anything

They called my work phone today. I heard a man on the other end say "hello" and when I said it back, he didn't respond. It sounded like he stayed on the line for a few seconds and then I just hung up.

I received a call from this number but not knowing anyone in Utah, I didn't answer.  If it's important, they can leave a message.
