i missed a call from 801-736-0477

I keep getting phone calls from this number but when I answer no one is there or they hang up before I can pick up. They attempt to leave a message but when I listen to it, it's just static. I'm getting frustrated and want to stop these calls!!  Any suggestions??

call and hang up; call back and it claims the phone number is restricted.  Tried from a different phone and lines are busy.

I have recieved several calls from this number. Sometimes a man with a very strong accent will leave a voice mail that i cant even understand and other times it goes to my voicemail and all i gear is alot of back ground noise then they hang up. It is getting very annoying.

Today they called and actually knew the name of someone who works at our office, so I sent the call through.  They tried selling him magazine subscriptions.  Whatever call center this is, it sure does hit your number with every client it has. JERKS!

So far this number has called our office to:

1) sell me fake auto warranty extensions,
2) contact an imaginary engineer at our office for reasons they will not divulge, and
3) reduce my credit card interest.

I have a feeling these criminals are calling from one of the call centers listed here http://www.edcutah.org/PDF/Publications/TOP%20CALL%20CENTERS.pdf  Most likely it's Convergys or Teleperformance.  I've heard nothing but bad things from friends who have worked at both and none of them worked there for much longer than a couple weeks before they quit.  I'm not positive though, just suspect it since the minions have all had Utah accents so far.

They called again today and asked for someone that doesn't work at our office.  She then asked for an engineer or a plant manager.  I told her we don't have a plant to be managed, which is true.  She said she was sorry and hung up.

Whoever it is just called our office.  I answered and there was silence for a few seconds then it disconnected.  Probably a call center using an autodialer.  The caller ID info was a huge red flag since 801 is a Utah area code, not international.  It's kind of amusing to see the different fake caller ID info these call centers will invent, like, "main lines" or "Incoming Call 5" as though everyone's phone system registers calls that way, haha- Dorks!

Called the # back- it just kept ringing and then disconnected.

This phone number is listed as a brooks fiber communication.

I received a phone call today from this phone number. They left a message and all that i could hear said...or it will be closed. I have tried to call it back and it rings and rings or else it says that the call is restricted.

I was contacted on my cell phone about an extended warranty for an item I don't own.  Very fishy and concerning.
