Same garbage.  Called my number in Illinois.

Got a call from these people today when I was told my car was out of warranty I asked how did you get this number.  A long pause then the lady says is that right that your warranty ran out. I again asked how did you get this number since my number is unlisted. she hung up

This is a robot that sounds like a real lady,selling fake extended vehicle warranties. I did'nt catch the company name. I don't drive or have a car,so I just hung up. Spoofed Utah number can't be called back.

Call came in today after 1400. The answering machine picked up and a woman's voice said "Hi, this is (Jill?) calling from the Vehicle Warranty Center; how are you doing today?......Hello?......." When another family member picked up, the caller hung up. I had this happen to me before, under another phone number. They either hang up, or they say they are from the Vehicle Warranty Center (they won't say which company), and then they will (try to) identify your vehicle and start asking questions without stating the reason they are calling. The last time I got called the guy kept asking me for my vehicle's mileage and got creepily persistent about it. Tell them not to call you anymore, and then report them.

Caller ID said private caller.  I picked it up as my doctors office shows that for appointment reminders.

What it was is the same old scam.  Vehicle Warranty Center.

At first I thought it was a robot caller, but i kept messing her script up by asking questions.  I asked her do you work for Chrysler she finally hung up. I think I ate her 2 minutes up and she needed to make another call to keep up her quota.  Look the car we have is 2005, it is long since been out of warranty. LoL i think she just picked a name of a vehicle.  I will be filing a report with the fcc.

I just got a call from this number but didn't answer I looked the number up here. Another stupid car warranty scam! I don't drive. LOL

Just got a call from 801-805-0274 said private name on caller ID, didn't answer it let answering machine get it they heard my greeting didn't leave a message.  I guess being on the Do Not call list don't help with telemarketer.

I find it amazing that they can call you but when I tried to call them the message I got was " check your number and dial again."  These companies need to check the DO NOT CALL list before they place these calls.

801-805-0274 - Utah - female called and said that my vehicle warranty has expired.  I replied, "No that is incorrect, which vehicle are you referring to?"  The female then abruptly hung up on me.  This is definitely a sales call.

I say start accepting their calls, teel them you want the service, offer, without committing to buy, to want the most expensive package offered, they say, APRIL FOOLS! and hang up before they can respond.

I just got the same call from a perky happy young female who sounded like she was reading...."I'm calling from vehicle warranty how are you today?"

Same caller..."vehicle warranty center". Said it was on my "Ford", which is funny since I don't own a "Ford" and all of my vehicles are <1 yr old!

The "car warranty center" called my work number..  A voice that sounded like a robo call programmed to sound like a real person informed me that my car warranty had expired.  Told them that I don't accept junk calls at a business number and hung up.  It didn't seem to me that I was talking to a real person.  My car is about 5 months old-- pretty sure it's still under warranty.

The donotcall list only works if everyone reports the calls. Not answering is a great idea when you don't know who it is, but reporting each one is most important. REPORT EVERY CALL, it is the only way to cut down on them. If you have call blocking use it. If you don't have it, see if it can be added to your line. Most importantly, NEVER give out your personal information to these scammers. That's the only reason they call.

I also just received a call from this number.  It is a telemarketing company that is trying to sell me extended warranty coverage on my vehicle.  I have programmed a dialer to dial the number but no one is answering!  I did some research and it appears that the company picked up my information because I purchased a used vehicle a few years ago and the information about my registration is public information in my state of Virginia or they picked up my information from the dealer that sold me tha car.

Just got a call from this number so I thought I'd check it out.  Glad I didn't answer.  Caller ID said Provo, UT.  The Do Not Call List means nothing.  Can't someone get this to stop?!

Same scenario as above....vehicle warranty blah blah blah ...  I said I was the receptionist and who would you like to speak with. She paused and finally said "Sorry to bother you I will remove your number from the list." I guess my answer wasn't in her script.  

Called our business; totally did not listen to me answer or my responses. Kept asking her if she was listening. BOGUS!

I do not want to get calls from this company

Female caller chirped: "Hi I'm Jill with the Vehicle Warranty [something?Association maybe?]! How are you?"
Me: "I'm doing great, what's the Vehicle Warranty Whatever?"

I hit the speakerphone button...on...off.  Maybe we need to call our phone provider & raise a ruckus about being on the do not call list but still getting MANY scam calls.  After all, the phone companies get all the rewards from payments received from BOTH sides, perhaps if enough of us start telling them to be responsible enough to police their product we wouldn't be annoyed so often.

Call received at 2:12 pm Central on 12/09/2013.   Caller ID showed "PRIVATE CALLER"  (Big Deal..I'm a PRIVATE RECIPIENT)   Since I did not recognize the area code or number, the call was not answered.  Came to this
website to confirm it is a scam call.   This call will be blocked on my phone system..

Note: Entering "I am on the Do Not Call List"  in these comments is meaningless.  This type of caller pays no
attention to the DNC list..The bogus caller does not read these comments.  

I got this call but refused to answer it since it said 'anonymous'. I get these calls everyday, day after day, week after week. When will it stop?

caller ID says Private Name so I didnt answer. The message was ...vehicle warranty center

Got a couple calls from this number while at work.  -  Left no message - upon checking - they are trying to sell car warranties for several thousand dollars - not!!  Blocked the number

Got the same call from same people 801-805-0274 on caller id from Provo UT
I told them there was no way it was expired because the I should be well within warranty explaininin the math to them and then they hung up.
