Way to revive a LONG-dead thread, there, shill!  People pay for their phone service.  This gives them the right to control who they take calls from.  With your attitude, these people (posting over TWO years ago, by the way) are wise to not talk to you.  Why don't you find a line of work in which people appreciate what you do, or are you too angry to get hired for such jobs?
"Have some curtesy (sic)" -- back at you.

I promise you they GET paid no matter if you give fake info or not. And just for your information giving fake answers can actually make the survey take longer because it may generate more questions based on your answers to some of the other questions. If your going to take the time to do the survey you might as well give some real info so it could actually beneficial. Trust me when I say though these people get paid AND ate paid WELL no matter how you answer the questions

Just a idea if you want them to stop calling......JUST TAKE THE DAMN SURVEY! They won't call anymore if you do! The only way you would ever POSSIBLY get a call again would would be in a different survey and that's not even a definite because the numbers are really randomly dialed the very FIRST time they call you. The reason they  call again is because once they establish that they have a working number the number is stored in the system and they continue to try to reach someone on that number. Some of you people on here are ignorant as I don't know what. Keep in mind that these people are doing there damn job and these surveys they do actually have a benefit. If they call you at a bad time all you have to do is ask then to set a time to call you back at a time that's good for you and they will. I don't think that taking 20 mins or so out of your day is going to kill you! You people on here spending all your time calling here and there trying to get them to stop calling and all you had to do is take the damn survey an try won't call anymore you idiot. They won't ask for personal info about you and if you do feel a question is too personal all you have to say is I don't feel comfortable answering that and they will skip it. Have some curtesy and realize that these people are doing their jobs and it is important. I promise taking a few mins out of your day won't kill you!

3 times in 3 days on the cell phone and once at the house.  The house call was from the CDC asking for money to support Breast Cancer Research.  Call 1 and 2 to the cell phone left no message but I texted back a "do not call this number again" and had to pay $.25 to leave a voice mail message.  Call 3 to the cell phone I just picked up the phone and said "please do not call this number again as it is a private number and I already give to the Illinos chapter for Breast Cancer".  She proceded to let me know she was not with the CDC and I hung up before I heard where she was from.  I'll get the info next time they call.

Have received 3 calls in the past 3 days.  Yesterday I texted back and had to pay $.25 to leave a voicemail to not call me agai.  Lo and behold I got another call today and answered it with the opening statement "please don't call me again".  She kept on talking.  I did not wait long enough to hear who was calling.

Very aggressive persistent caller calling about a survey from the CDC about my health.  I refuse to answer their question and they went Wacko on me.   Very aggressive. I told them to take me off their phone list and they augured with me.
This is an Agenda 21 survey,  They want to know if I enjoy my life and say that is not a personal question. LOL
I think they get paid for each completed survey that is why they act so desperate.

I answered them the on their second call.  I simply said

Why are you asking me to take off my blouse? this is sexual harassment.

I said this 5 times before they hung up on me.   And I said it to everything they asked or tried to say they didn?t ask for me to do this.

I then did *57 on my phone right after the call to send the call to the phone company and log in proof of a harassing call.

So far???.they think I?m a crazy old woman?with a little more brains then they have

Good luck all

The pdf file for the questionnaire is also on that link. The direct link is:

If the questions in the pdf file are the ones you are getting then it is NOT a scam and it will be very useful to public health if you participated in this Survey. I hope that helps!

Exempt?? They assured me they would handle the complaint and would have the calls stopped! This is a private number. Most of you probably also have private numbers as well. The people calling are contracted out by the CDC they're not actual CDC so there has to be a way to stop this insanity. This is crazy. If they want to call me and tell me I am going to die from Ebola that is fine. I do not want to do their stupid survey for 20 minutes. These people are harassing us.

I called the CDC INFO LINE #800-232-4636 they connected me with the complaints department. They took down the number that called me and the time and my number and said they would put me on the NO CALLS list or something. I did this TWICE. He asked for my name i said NO. I said it is bad enough they have my number, I won't have them calling me by my name next time. I gave him my number to be REMOVED from their RANDOM selection list. I told him there are complaints all over the internet. I asked him how long this would take for it to get to the idiot who keeps calling me. He said there is no time frame. I am ready to call the FBI.

These people are driving me bonkers!!
I have called the CDC INFO LINE 2x already and they put me on the NO CALL list.
This number 802-861-3177 calls our home 2-3 times a day some days.
Some times they leave a message, sometimes they do not.
I have picked up and asked them not to call. My daughter has picked up and told them
if they continue to call she will report them for harassment. This has been going on for weeks!
They will not stop! I am going to have to change my number and I am ill and my doctors and
the hospital needs my number. This is really disturbing. They say I was selected RANDOMLY??
How random is 2-3 times a day for weeks on end??

I said well make a note that I don't want your phone calls (which i had already made clear on previous occasions). He said "if you would've listened I told you I don't have your name, you've been randomly selected" I said " well randomly UNSELECT me, mark verver..and if you dont, mark my words, I will report you..do you understand me." he said "have a nice day". I'm reporting them anyway.

They've called twice - both times I have asked them to take my name off the list.  I asked if she worked for the CDC and where she was. She said she is calling on behalf of the CDC and was in Virginia.

They insist they need my input to make important decisions about gulf coast health.  I dunno how any of you feel about that, but selecting some one at random to decide about my health does not seem to be in my best interest especially since THIS randomly selected, non-participant knows ZERO about medicine/health science!

I also am getting calls from 802-861-3177 saying they are with the CDC and conducting a survey about health issues.  The first time they called was close to 9PM at night when I was going to bed.  The next time they called I started to play along and the first question that was asked was is there a man living in my house in addition to myself--sort of sounds like they are casing your home, doesn't it.
Which, by the way, my husband of many years does live with me.  I told the lady I was waiting for an important call and could not talk.  The next time they call, I will hit the # key very fast for about a dozen times.  The beeping sound that it makes sounds like a disconnected phone line and discourages computer dialed calls.  Also, anyone getting these calls should file a report with the FTC because they will make a case file and issue a number to it and every time someone calls to report the same number it goes into that file and the company will be fined.

They have called me every day, sometimes twice a day, for the past two weeks. I asked to be removed from the list and was told there is no list, the numbers are randomly generated. If so, why does mine come up so many times?  I've told them over and over and over not to call.
Next time, I'm going to relieve some stress on them.  Jerks.
I don't live anywhere near the Gulf Coast and I wouldn't give them personal health info over the phone even if I was.

After many calls from this number I finaly answered they said it was the CDC doing a survey on health on the Gulf Coast, questions revolved around cell phone vs land line use when I answered the question "what % of calls are recieved on my cell phone" and my answere was 5% the survey was over, wonder what that has to do with my health ???

This survey is being conducted by a company called ICF Macro, a division of ICF International, for the CDC, a division of the Executive Branch of the government of the United States of America.

As a previous poster (BLM) has noted, the CDC is exempt from the Do Not Call Registry.

I received this call pretending to be conducting a survey on behalf of the CDC for issues related to Gulf Coast health.  And the only questions they were interested in asking was how many phone calls I get on my land line versus cell phone.  That relates to oil spill related health issues... how?

My take, they're conducting a survey on behalf of a phone company, probably fishing for sales leads, and the CDC claim is a big fat lie.
