My wife received a phone call asking for me she gave the phone to me and the lady speaking verified that I was the person she was calling for then she said is your address this I replied and said yes she then hung up on me is anybody know what is going on with these callers is it a scam

They called again, this time said hello, but that is all I could understand. Didn't sound like english to me.
Wish something could be done to stop these people.

I have gotten multiple calls from this number with no voice mails.  I dont answer calls on my cell from numbers i dont know.

Theses people are calling me and for what? How do I block their number from calling my phone?

AMCOL SYSTEMS is the name of these IDIOTS and harrassment is their GAME. Once your number is in their [system] they will call you even at illegal times of the day or night. They are based in South Carolina and are a collection agency for Medical Bills. I have read thousands of complaints about this agency on the internet and their usual tactic is to call and when you answer the phone you only get dead air. The assumption is that you will than call them back at the 80321738?? number left on your caller ID and they figure they GOTCHA. Most of their HARRASSMENT is based on un-substantiated or un-due Medical Bills that probably are already taken care of but if possible they want their hand in-the-pot if they can convince you that they are still owed!!  Don't fall for this un-scroupulous ploy by RIP-OFF AMCOL SYSTEMS.

I received a call from them today.  They did not leave a message when I was unable to take the call.  I called back and talked to a gentleman, gave him my phone number and he said that they were trying to collect a debt from a person I didn't know.  He advised they would remove my number when I told him that person was not at my number.

AM REPORTING THEM AS BEING A ABUSIVE AS THEY CALL CONSTANTLY IN REGARD TO A DEBT THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN SETTLED AS WAS ERRONEOUS FROM THE BEGINNING...THEY ARE RELENTLESS AND INTRUSIVE!!!

They call my son's phone number daily. They never leave a message. I have always told him to never answer the phone unless he knows who it is.  If it is someone legitimate, they will leave a message.   PS  he has not debts.

I get several calls a month from this number on my MagicJack phone number. They never leave a message, so I guess they aren't all that interested in a callback. Right after I got this MagicJack, I got calls from several collection agencies for a woman named Amber. I finally got the other agencies to stop calling me, but I'm not calling these people unless they actually leave a message.

really, your bank does not have your #, not a wise move unless your bank does not care about you. my bank calls me WHENEVER they see something out of the ordinary, a store I have not shopped at before, known scam company's if they try to put a charge thru.........I have had them stop more than one transaction that was NOT MINE. You need to reconsider that institue having your number......they can not share your # with ANYONE unless you approve.

They call, I pickup, then.... Nothing!!  Everday!!!!  I try to call back and get busy signal.  Hopefully someone will get to the bottom of this and post on this page!!!

Calls everyday.  This is a new nember and the caller has no idea who they are calling.  Calls and hangs up.  Debt collectors needs to know who they are calling.

It is a debt collection agency, but they did not give out a name, and they are very aggressive and nasty!

I've also received calls from this number.  I have a sneaking suspicion it is one of those scams, where if you try to call the number back, they charge you HUGE amounts of money.

get this call EVERY DAY, at least once, at work. I work in a group home setting with 16 residents in my building and 16 various staff. Number rings, I answer, phone hangs up! NOTHING - no message, no voice, ....VERY ANNOYING

This number just called me & i called ; it is a collection agency; however, I couldn't understand the name of it.

Regular caller, it rings, i pick up, they hang up. Nothing new.. I think they find it amusing.. Its ridiculous.
