That would be a "George W. Bush" phone.  That program (started when Ronald Reagan was president) was expanded to cell phones during GWB's tenure.

Received a call. Caller ID was "Fairfax SC". Didn't recognize number so did not answer. No Mmessage

Had four calls within the last two hours from this number. Finally answered and acted like I was a business. Woman said, "Oh, I'm sorry, wrong number."

Not answering any political call from any party. Not even going to vote, whats the use, they just feed their pockets and do not care for the average working person, To heck with all the politics.

Got call while I was on phone with someone. Did not lv msg. Hour or so ago got call from 000-000=0000 and figured it was to confirm my number as being good. They said nothing when I answered. I guess after confirming my number as being good, they sent it to telemarketers, and the 803 number might be of their clients.

Got call while I was out. Left no message. Note: Just because area code is 803 doesn't mean call came from 803. Got a call last week with 843 a/c and when I reversed searched it, it came from Russia. Got similar call and reverse engineered it and was told call came from West Bengal, wherever that is.

Received call, but did not answer. No message.

These same people have been calling my repeatedly!!! I do not answer the phone if I don't recognize the number. They don't leave a message on the machine.

I don't live too far from there.  If I could get a street address I would leave a note on their car to stop calling or I'd slash their tires.

Called in regard to tomorrows Mayoral election in town. I didn't answer phone and they left message on my machine. Said it was paid for on behalf of the candidate mentioned in message.

Called at lunchtime today but I did not answer so they left message on my machine saying something about the Mayoral election in town tomorrow and call was paid for on behalf of the candidate.

They all lie!  I'm sure they'll be blasting my phone again soon.

Number called yesterday at 5:50, 6:55 and 8:44.  Did not answer, but called back today (expecting possible unknown caller from this area code).  Got recorded message stating that the call was for some type of survey BS.  Not happy.  Called my cell phone.  GRRRRRR!

Says calling from BSA Research.  Has called 4 times in the past 2 hours.

They call everyday, two or three times a day. Never leave a message. One time my husband picked up the receiver and just kept punching a key a few times and then hung up.

They keep calling me too--if they don't leave a message, they really do not want to talk to me.  In the last hour they have called 4 times.

Got a call from this number and wanted to speak with a son of mine who does not live with me.  I asked them who they were and was told Sue with CCG????  Whatever.... told them no one by that name lived at the number they called.

This number called my house, so I called it back from my cell. Got a recording that simply said "If you wish to be added to our Do Not Call List press "1" and then disconnected me.

Okay, so "Stephanie" lied.  What a surprise.  
Just got another call at 8:07 PM on October 26 from this same number.
Did not answer this time.

Also, asked if you have a favorable or unfavorable impression of each person, how likely you are to vote, are you Democrat, Republican, or Independent, and will you vote a straight ticket.

Just got a call from this "Unknown Number". Since it was a Columbia, South Carolina area code and our daughter lives in Columbia, my husband answered.  It was "Stephanie" looking for my daughter, using her maiden name. All my husband said was, "she doesn't live here" and Stephanie said, "okay, I'll mark this as an incorrect number."

Awesome.  I need to start telling all these telemarkers the same thing ... ha ha.

They just called me 2 times. Did not leave any voice message.
