This is a colletion agency that calls for my brother. They have been calling me for over two years. I have asked them on several occasions to stop calling me. However, they continue to call my telephone number. They call several times a day - at different times of the week. I have asked them to stop calling me and to remove my number from their records, but they tell me that this isn't possible. I have stopped answering my phone when I see their number pop up on the caller ID. I don't ever retrieve the calls from my answering maching so that it's so full that they can't leave a message. I need them to stop calling and harrassing me on Saturday morning, Sunday morning, etc, etc, etc...

Jerks. Said my husband signed a contract over 4 years ago. After demanding a copy, he told me he "might" be able to find one for me. You can't say we have a debt if there is no paper work. He acted like it was completely crazy that I would ask him for it.

These people call and won't stop. They are trying to collect a bogus debt from my son. This has all been cleared and deleted by the credit bureaus and Asset Acceptance keeps calling and acting as if they know nothing about it.Even gave a callback number and name this time: Phillip Harris 877-277-3850

these people call and wake me not long after I go to sleep, I state I work nights and tell them they are rude they say no were not and will call you later. I say no you not and have their number blocked so they can't. If they get through, the next call goes to the better business bureau! I won't tolerate people like this!

Asset acceptance is one of the lowest of the low as bottom feeders go. These people that work for them are people who cannot get legitimate work and prey on old debts and use fear and intimidation hoping they will find someone gullible enough to actually be afraid of them .
Many, many bottom-feeder, scavenger debt collectors file suit on debts that are
past the statute of limitations. These are commonly referred to as ‘Time Barred Debts.’ A lot of consumers, unaware that the statutes have expired, take a default judgment on debts they no longer may legally owe. A default judgment has value to a scavenger as they know the consumer can no longer raise any legal claims (in most cases) and collections are easier to attain. If you are ever unsure of what the DLA is, get copies of your credit reports direct from the three credit bureaus, (Credit Bureaus) and look at the date of last activity as stated by the original creditor. I always recommend that you hold on to those credit reports for at least five years as many of the bottom-feeders are known to change the DLA to inflate their portfolios.’ A credit report is an excellent resource should legal actions be commenced against the bottom-feeders. FIGHT BACK AGAINST THESE DIRTBAGS YOU HAVE RIGHTS . Read more about these scumbags and your rights . http://budhibbs.com/index.html

Same old, same old! I guess in the collection biz, if you don't have anything to do, you just harass random people repeatedly.

These cretins need to get lives. Calling my voice mail every day or two can't be that fulfilling.
MARC 2011-06-06 20:59:13 Unknown
THEY CALL EVERY MORNING WAKING ME UP. I NEVER ANSWER THE CALL BECAUSE I DON'T KNOW THEM. IF THE CALL WAS IMPORTANT THEY WOULD LEAVE A MESSAGE, RIGHT?
Wayne 2011-06-06 20:59:13 Unknown
Just another periodic call that has nothing to do with me (or anyone I know). The government, of course, does nothing about jerks like this.

Is a company called "Outside or Fireside Acceptance" (Indiscernible)
Wayne 2011-06-06 20:59:13 Unknown
It sure is nice that we have a well-paid group of govvies to protect us from scum like this. Otherwise, these jerks would call even more frequently than twice a week.
Wayne 2011-06-06 20:59:13 Unknown
Just another call from these blackguards!

This company keeps calling our number, and demands to speak with Al. We have lived here for 5 years and we do not even know anyone named Al. The person tells me that I do not have a right to even know what company is calling. They are very RUDE! and I am tired of them calling!! How do we stop this kind of stuff!!!

We moved 4 months ago in our house. AACC call me every week, I keep telling them to stop.I'm not Linda! I keep telling them we are on the do not call GV list. Saturday 8am...Sunday 8 am...enough... When I asked the man who is was? He got really agressif. I don't need that kind the BS on Week end. Please, What can I do to make them stop???
Wayne 2011-06-06 20:59:13 Unknown
These creeps call every week or so, always for someone I've never heard of. I hoped the new administration would start enforcing the Do Not Call laws, but so far violators seem able to get away with ignoring it.

I've received numerous calls from Asset Acceptance, but this is the first time from this particular number. They always ask for a certain person; I've never heard of her. Obviously, they're using multiple numbers from which to call. Asset Acceptance has to be stopped. They're wasting my time and irritating the hell out of me. They are gaining absolutely nothing by calling my number. So, what's their point? Asset Acceptance, please enlighten me.

Ihave been getting calls for a sharon. Ihave no idea who the person is, but they insist on leaving harrasing personal messages for this person on my machine. I have called them to tell them to stop calling twice already. Today when I called to tell them the same the lady was so rude. Inher snippy little voice she says "I've put it in as a bad # and refused to listen to my telling her that Ihad called them twice already. Is there any legal action we can take against them for harrasment?
Wayne 2011-06-06 20:59:13 Unknown
Is anyone ever going to act against these criminals?
Shannon 2011-06-06 20:59:13 Unknown
I too have gotten calls from this number, wanting me to call back and talk to an Amy Taylor....I have not called this number back as of yet, because I figure they are more people wanting money that I do not have. I guess these places don't listen or watch the news about people losing their jobs. I have been out of work since May of '08.........

This collection agency calls about once a week for someone who doesn't live here, someone I've never heard of before. Like all these scumbags, AACC ignores demands to stop calling.

I continuously receive calls from these people, and everytime I answer, they hang up. If I don't answer, they leave a recorded message on my machine, saying that they are a debt collector and that I (they use my actual Maiden name) have a deliquent JCPenney's credit card account. I don't even have a JCPenney's credit card!!! VERY suspicious. I'm wondering if it is a scam company. Today, I called them back because they hung up on me, and they did not seem very professional at all. In fact, the person who answered was surprised I called back and continued to say that he didn't know why the "caller...ahem...machine" would hang up on me. *shrug*

We've received many recorded messages from this debt collection company looking for a person we've never heard of, and we've had our number for 3.5 years. The message always states that by listening to the message I verify that I am indeed that person. The person being sought after is to call Amy Taylor at a 1-800 number that does not go through. Today is the 3rd time I have called to tell them to stop calling. ("Amy Taylor" has never been available.) Previously they said OK. Today they said the person must keep giving our number to them, and basically, too bad for you, we're going to keep calling!
