A woman called at 6am and at first she said she was collecting a debt for a mexican cell phone company called TELCEL. I speak spanish, so I asked her not to call, especially so early and she said that was standard procedure for collecting debt in mexico.
I told her how WRONG I thought that was and she just started getting rude, saying (in a very condescending voice) "if people didn't fall behind with their payments, this wouldn't happen to them". I said I still thought that was a shitty way to treat people in debt, and that it was harassment. I also said that's no way of doing business. She just answered, "I'm not doing business, I'm here to make people pay one way or another." I said something like YOU SUCK and hung up.
