I wouldn't call them back because you might get charged for that call to one of those idots numbers. They are scaming and just by pressing that digit it might cost you. They ownly do this to get money out of unsuspecting people. I hope to catch them but the local phone company and the toll carriers have to work together in order to catch them. This is a difficult process when the toll company only has a automated system and you can't talk to a live person. Big toll companies make this process very difficult. Not all mind you but enough of them. I work for a small Local phone company and I'm trying to track these calls down but a slow process. The FCC needs to get on board by creating a task force that has the resources and the authority to get everyone working together in a timely manner and catch these people and sting them so they think twice about doing these things again.

These calls are nationwide.  I work for a small telephone company in Iowa and we are adding the telemarketing block on customers phones so these calls can't get through.

I work for a small town phone company and we have had numerous customers getting these calls.  We are putting a telemarketing block on customers phones.  From what I understand these robocalls stay in the area for about 2 weeks and then they will go on to the next prefix.  Don't answer your phone it just lets the system know there is a live person and could possibly result in more calls

813-398-1529 .... caller ID traces to YMax corp, which is magic jack. I get the same "This is a fax delivery service" and "press 2 if this is not a fax". Anybody in the world can buy these devices now, and make calls over the internet appearing they are from any state they wish, for scams, pranks, etc. I do like the comment about calling a number back during business hours to find out "why they felt the need to wake me up at 5 in the morning!" LOL!! How did that work for you?
The FCC is severely understaffed to the point that they hardly exist at all. Gone are the days when a phone number identified an actual phone line installed in a specific location. Now you can get a number in any state you wish, keep it, take it with you, give it to someone else, or have it engraved on a tombstone to remain forever "in memory" of someone.

Similar problems - middle of the night.  Very frustrating!  Have not signed up for any drawings though.  Received one this morning at 4:22 am.  Then at 4:56 am, received another but this time with silence on the other end from a number that read "TSA" 404-978-7096  That's an actual number--appears to be a (legitimate?) business--I called it tonight and there is a voice message service that answers.  I may try it tomorrow during business hours and find out why they felt the need to wake me up at 5 in the morning!

It may be a coincidence, but I started getting these calls shortly after signing up for a drawing at a well known office supply store. Does that ring a bell with anyone? (no pun intended)

I won't name the company because I don't want to implicate them if it's just a coincidence, but if others starting getting the calls after signing up for the same contest, then maybe we've got a lead.

Already had a couple of dozen of these calls in the past week -- often as early as 5:30 a.m.  Same thing.  Begins with "this is an automated fax delivery service."  Caller ID has been spoofed since the caller info shows either "out of area" or various bogus cell phone numbers in Florida, Tennessee and other states.  I'd love to find the turds behind this operation and lock them in a room with Hillary Clinton and Nancy Pelosi for 72 hours.

We have received dozens. All hours. several different caller I.D. numbers as well as "Unavailable" or "Private number".
We suspect a scam and have been advised NOT to press any numbers.

Yes!  We have received about 10 calls per day since the new year.  Getting extremely annoying!  Called phone company...now onto FCC.  We haven't seen this exact number, but four others like it.

This is the last in a string of phone calls I've received over the last 4 days from several different phone numbers.  Also many calls with no number, just "Out of Area."  The automated message is "This is an automated fax delivery service.  Press 2 now."  Pressing 2 results in silence.  As of now, I have received 51 phone calls!  Several other people in my area with the same landline prefix have been receiving the calls, too.  I'm not answering the phone at all unless I recognize the caller.  The calls come at all hours of the day and night.  I have filed complaints with the FCC, the FTC and the National Do Not Call Registry.  Our phone company is also investigating.  Anybody else receiving calls like this?
