I have been getting a lot of calls from the Tampa Florida area code.  I was ignorning them all until today when they called like 10 times, my husband answered it's kind of scarey because they have an Indian accent my husband told me they asked for me by my first name.  My husband yelled at them and told them never to call my cell phone again.  The guy hung up real quickly.  IT IS DEFINITELY A SCAM!!! Furthermore, I received a letter about 2 weeks ago from Sands Casino stating that my information may have been stolen from someone who hacked their computers.  Well, now this is going to be a headache, I need to take all precautions and this is why these phone calls are scarring me especially when they ask for me by name...Please becareful and DONOT I REPEAT DONOT GIVE THEM ANY INFORMATION OR MONEY AND DON'T LET THEM PROMISE YOU ANYTHING IN EXCHANGE OF PAYMENTS>>>>>>>>>>>>>I am sure I will be living a nightmare unless I can nip this in the bud...

I received a call from Alex at this number stating he was from GE Capital. First of all he didn't speak good english and couldn't pronounce my name properly and that sent off a red flagg right away. He stated that I had applied for a loan online but when I asked what date it was done, he couldn't tell me. He immediately asked how much money i wanted to borrow, if I had requested a loan I'm sure the amount would have been included. When these people call and you are the one asking all the questions it really throws them off their game( which is exactly what it is). They have no choice but to hangup. All i had to do was tell them to send the information in the mail. He said it would be sent to my email and the conversation ceased. I win this one.

^ do people really deal with cretins lke this?  There 4910 complaint(s) filed against them in the BBB right now.  Normally only collection agencies get that  many so why would anyone deal with 2them

I had the same thing happen to me I was in desperate need and I googled it and things looked legit and then things went down hill from that point when you catch them and they know they stop answering the phone .... Some people in this world are really messed up ....  I called the fraud people at green dot and they seeing to get the money back I had to get 2 green for cards and they say they won't take the MONEY BUT THEY DID WITHOUT MY PERMISSION AND DAIS I HAD TO WAIT TILL NEXT YEAT TO GET MY MONEY BACK WFT

I keep getting calls from this number and every time I pick up and say Hello, no one says a word. I just hang up then. I am tried of them calling me. I did not give them my number and it is also on the DO NOT CALL LIST.  Enough is enough.

I just got had. His name was Andy and he was with GE Capital bank. We were to get 5000 dollars after we purchased a green dot card for 320. He promised that he wouldn't take that money it was only to verify we had the funds for the first payment. When I did the money was gone. He said I would be reimbursed as soon as I purchased insurance for 360. I told him I had no more money and I wanted my 320 back. He said I could not get it back. I told him I would have my attorney call him. But let's face it I was desperate and needed the money so badly that I fell for this. I can't afford an attorney. They just stole this money from me. Please don't fall for this. I can't believe people like this are actually out there.
