Promising them 400 a week I googled the number
That was on the original email which is a google number
Here is the reply he so far sent now it looks and sounds

This person contacted me through a craiglist ad and was interested in buying some furniture I was selling.
He offered to send a cashiers check and send a freight company by to pick it up. I told him cash and carry were my only terms. Never heard from him again. He prefers to communicate by text message and is clearly a con artist.

It's a scam. One of two things will happen. You'll get an overpayment, which they will want you to Western Union back to them, or they hope you'll send the item before the check bounces (and it will). A happy Craigslist sale is a local, cash only one.

I was contacted via text inquiring about a item for sale on craigs list.  The member does not wish to meet.  They offer to purchase the item solely based on craigs list images and description.  Then individual offered to send a certified check for item and then have us send the item.  

The certified check give me some reassurance however, every attempt to call the phone number provided ends stating provide your and Global Search will attempt to contact the subscriber, which is unsucessful and prompts you to leave a message.

Maybe its me but I believe its suspicous.

I recieved a text on Friday February 17 at 1:04 pm saying, "Hello, Do you still want me to mail out the payment to you for your cleaning my 3 bedroom apartment?
Next text same day at 1:16 pm  "My name is John Wedley, We are relocating to city from Canada."
Next text same day 1:21 pm : I got your number on craigslist but are you still interested in the job?"
Next text same day 1:24 pm "Oh I got it on Facebook"
Next text same day 1:27 pm same as second text
Next text same day 1:28 pm "Iowa"
Next text same day 1:34 pm "OK"
