Call was received and I let the machine pick up the call.  The party hung up.  I understand that this number may be a fund raiser for EMT's. and the people tend to harass the prospective donors.

Didn´t pick it up and no message was left

I didn't get anybody on the other end of the line when I answered the phone.

I just received a call where the guy on the other end said, "Stupid sucker", and then hung up.

I mentioned it to my wife, and she said that she had a call from an extremely pushy charity representative saying something about baseball or basketball and people who shed their blood (my wife could understand little of what she was saying).  She kept telling them that we weren't interested.  The charity rep got louder and pushier and sounded angry, not allowing my wife to get a word in, until my wife just put the phone down and walked away.

I decided to *69 my call, and sure enough, it was 1-813-464-2356.  These guys have bugged us off and on over the years, not easily taking "no, thank you" for an answer, but it was never this bad! Now they're saving records of people they don't like, so they can harass and insult them later?

Well, I got another call from this number again about five minutes ago.  This time, they went ahead and were asking for a donation for the EMT's.

They called me at 9 p.m. and nobody said anything. Instead, there was a beeping tone and I stood there for a minute waiting for some telemarketer to answer so I could tell them to take my name off their list but there was nothing.  I signed up for the DO NOT CALL list about two months ago and am still getting this call.  WELCOME TO AMERICA! oh well, better luck next time.

call 800 299 1895 to get them to put you on their "free" (gee , thanks) DO NOT CALL list.  Just did so- was told will take a few days, we'll see...

Allegedly it is State of FL Police Athletic League-- when I rush to answer them they hang up-- they call all the time!

Too many times I have rushed to answer the phone, only to see this arcane caller ID - FENTANDRA- and a number I don't recognize. That's why I never answer.

received a call from these people today.  I didn't answer and I don't have an answer machine.  I just let it ring.

Caller ID states FENTANDRA with this number 813-464-2356, and no message was left on machine. I "Googled" FENTANDRA and get nothing worthy, and then and even tried translating the word from Spanish (or Portugese?) to English with no luck.

Call came in at 11:00 A.M. on January 19,2007. Caller sounded like Apu Nahasapeemapetilon [Kwik-E-Mart clerk from THE SIMPSONS] asking for "Mr. C." mispronouncing my name. So immediately I know that this person is not a friendly. I tell him that Mr. C. does not live here and to place my number on the "do not call list." He immediately ask for "Mrs. C." again mispronouncing our name. I tell his as well that Mrs. C. does not live here and for him to place my number on the "do not call list." He is laborous and continues talking as I hang up the telephone. This is not the first and probably not the last. I scoured the internet and can't find anything regarding "FEMTANDPA" as was showing on my caller ID with the listed number. These people are relentless. Apparently there is little that the govt. or the phone company can or will do to thort these morons.

According to the irs.gov site, this is not a tax deductible charity. I tried to reach them, but "their agents were busy at this time". They've called me on two different phones in two different counties. Why would a Tampa based charity be calling out of county for contributions?

these people called identified themselves as EMT's (911) calling for donations, however, they were so rude to my husband. My husband said I will have to check with my wife to see if she donated to you. The caller said " CAN'T YOU MAKE A DECISION, WITHOUT YOUR WIFE?" pretty rude huh. I was so angry when my husband told me this. I think maybe I will put in a complaint with FCC. When you are asking for donations you don't be RUDE and second of all are they really from EMT? (911)?

Who is this? They don't say anything when I asnwer.
