Why keep calling, over and over again. Ringing, ringing, ringing. Why, why, why???
sdflkjldskfj 2014-03-11 23:39:12 Unknown
That's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard. When have you ever had to show anyone proof of prior salary? You float a price and they talk you down. Have you ever had a job? I mean other than your pathetic job as a K Force social media lackey?
Since you apparently have not, what the staffing agencies are doing now is basically forcing you to become your own HR department and take care of all the preliminaries so they can plop you in there on day one without any effort on their part (and start immediately getting their cut--that they earned through no effort).
I got hired by one agency who was so inept, by the time this pathetic chick that worked there figured out which forms she was supposed to send me, the employer had already hired the whole class--so no gig for me. Luckily I found a gig with a real company, instead of the corporate version of day labor. F****ng joke.

Ring, ring, ring. This number calls my phone a couple times a day. Came to this site to check what it was. I guess now I know.

I'm sure "It's hard enough" has already shot himself in the foot with them by now, but for new people coming onto this site, Kforce is a reputable staffing agency that, yes, needs documentation and sensitive information in order to *cut you paychecks* if they contract you for a job. I can't speak to the quality of any individual recruiter, but the company as a whole is a perfectly fine staffing company to work under. I worked for a large financial company in New England that used them to fill their IT positions, and was shifted from intern to contractor and became employed by Kforce that way. Had no issues with them for my tenure there. They've recently called me for a new local position, which is what led me to this post. No intention of calling them back, being happy in my current position, but the paranoia is silly and unwarranted.

Received an email for John Ruiz from Kforce saying he had an job opportunity for me. He said his phone number was 813-552-3309. I decided to call the local office phone number of 813-552-5000. The person who answered the phone said they never heard of him???????

This is obviously some sort of scam. I am with KForce in my local town and I don't understand why another KForce office would be calling me from Florida or Texas. It's bad enough that we are looking for a job and trying to be looked at by legitimate companies by posting our resume. I got a call about a 5-6 month assignment and with the possibilities of starting next week. They are suppose to be calling me back tomorrow with more questions and the second they get too personal like anything remotely close to a SS# or W-2. I knew it was too good to be true. I always look to see who is calling me and make sure these businesses are legit. One person said hey they were nice to them and they did get a job. How much you want to bet the person that wrote that is probably one of the people pulling this crazy scam and making some of these calls. It's sad, shameful and insulting at the same time. I'm trying to find a job, and the person who's wasting my time with this b***s*** scam need to get a LIFE!

It's not bordering on harassment. Tell them to stop calling FFS. They can get your number in lots of ways - they're always saying things like "if you have a friend who would be a good fit for this job, let us know." Of all the things in the world to complain about, a job recruiter? It's not like it's a bill collector. They're nice. Just tell them you're not interested.
Duh 2013-10-07 14:04:24 Unknown
Then maybe it's a wrong number. Geez.
Phil 2013-08-14 14:46:40 Unknown
You're a fool. You have to show proof of prior salary. They were asking for prior year W2s. A paycheck stub would suffice for current employment. NOBODY will hire you withoug filling out forms. NOBODY.
Maria 2013-08-12 16:10:32 Unknown
I receive an call today and John was the person asking me some questions but when he ask for my SS# over the phone I didn't fill right.

Just reading your rant and inability to follow instructions would not make you a good candidate anyway.

Got a call from 813-552-1735 about 2 and a half weeks ago. It was Melissa from K-Force Staffing. She talked very fast; but, told me that she would submit my resume to MetLife. I told her that would be great. She submitted it and I then got a call from 614-776-3200, Jessica from K-Force, Columbus, Ohio. She contacted me to tell me that MetLife wanted to interview me. I went to the interview and about a week later, I received a call stating they wanted me to start on November 5. I was really excited, as this was for a 6 month assignment. Then, I was told that I would be receiving an e-mail regarding all that I had to turn in so that I can get started on the job. I open the e-mail, only to find that there are 13 documents I had to pull up and I thought, there is no way. I had to go to the library to pull everything up, because my computer is too old to recognize the program I needed. Then, I received other e-mail's from the companies that ran the background check stating I had to provide copies of w 2's from my former employers. I won't get those until the end of the year and I don't understand why I have to jump thru hoops just to get a job. Then, today, I receive a call from Jessica and I left a message for her to call back; but, instead, I receive a message from the national office, from Melissa and she mumbled and talked so fast, almost like she was overseas in a call center. I asked her how many of the 13 documents sent to me that I actually have to print out, as money is very tight right now and she kept interupting me and told me I had to print out everything and get the w 2's in and I told her that was impossible, as I won't get them until the end of the year and she asked why I didn't have them? Do these people understand w 2's only get mailed for tax purposes and I don't understand why I have to come up with them, as I don't work for these companies anymore. She then calls me back and tells me that she will leave a message for Jessica to call me back tomarrow and that there is a local K-Force office that I can go to in order to print off what I need; but, then hangs up on me. I think it is too much work for me to even go through this company, even though the job will last supposedly 6 months; I don't even know if it really will. I doubt I will even go through this company. I am thinking about filing a grievance with the better business bureau and their corporate office. Someone needs to rethink their stategy.

I was contacted only to be told that I was over-qualified. They added, if I ever wanted to switch careers, give them a call. The woman I talked to was very nice, but it was all through email. She didn't use any caps. You know what I mean.

I've rec.d several calls from this number but every time I answer the line the caller hangs up on me. I can hear 'call' center type noise on the phone (multiple folks chatting) ... curious as to why the harrasing phone calls to my cell. Service/contact by this entity is not welcomed!

813-552-5000 is KForce, and they have some rude fast talking people there these days. So they get your number off your resume, but they need to learn some manners. I had one call today he was rude and unable to answer my question, so literally kept over talking me and cutting me off. How LOW has KFORCE sunk looking for staff?

I just got a voicemail from KForce. I've had work through them before. May have been one of the worst jobs I ever had but they were good in the beginning. Not sure what went wrong and caused the rep I was working with to go psycho weird on me and a fellow KForce directed employee but some of the reps are good, some not.

It is a staffing firm Kforce Staffing - When you call back some very rude fast talking female answers and is in no way prepared to speak with you. I am writing to the main office and withdrawing my resume. I don't think that I want anyone who is that rude representing me.

How about them calling for the wrong person and you have told them in the past that you are not that person. They are looking for Sean. My voice mail on my cell phone says This is Cindy yet they still leave a message saying Hi Sean. And they are rude when you do try to get them to understand your situation and respectfully request that they stop callin gyou.
Cindy 2011-05-26 15:37:15 Unknown
I receive calls at least once a week from this company leaving messages for someone named Sean. I called back today, again, to request that they remove my number from their database. As I was talking to this person and explaining the situation, he told me to calm down and he would take care of it. When I said excuse me, calm down he hung up. Wow - great customer service.
