had this on my housephone when i got home from school, tried to call it back ( like i try to do with missed calls) and it said number disconnected or area has been changed... on the caller id it will give me a name or name of a business usually and with this call it said Seffner, Fl which is over by tampa i do believe...

Have received at least 3 calls from this number, my caller ID says UNKNOWN CALLER, but as others have reported, person never answers when the phone is answered.  We are supposedly on the DO NOT CALL list and my spouse works nights so this is getting extremely annoying.

Same as other comments..........caller hangs up when I answer the phone.

These people call at least 2 and 3 times a week.  I usually answer the phone and no one responds.  Today, a say hello, hello? and some man who sounded african american responds and asked for my wife by her first name.  I say she isn't here may I ask who is calling, the man says, "Dwight Sandhill" or something to that effect.  I then ask if I can take a message and the man just hangs up.  

So, DWIGHT SANDHILL, if you are reading this, and you are selling something or wanting donations, the best way to get that accomplished to speak to the person you want the money from.  

If this is your idea of fun, you have no life and no concept of fun.  There has to be something better for you to do than to call random people and just hang up.  It is weird and extremely annoying.

So in closing.... GO F*** YOURSELF!!!!!

this is a telemarketing firm called Zentel Zental something like that.  they are telemarketing for the police childrens baseball league soliciting donations, but I am sure you can fill in the blank.... as to what they are trying to sell you or get you to donate to.  I told them I would be more than happy to make a donation, send a marked cruiser by to get the check.  This is the way my family business has always supported the local police.  

At this point guess what??  The caller as usual got rude with me.


We are on the do not call, not sure if that matters.

annoying calls almost every day

They call, I answer, they hang up without saying anything.  Very annoying!

I receive a call from this number several times a week.  I let the machine get it, and they never leave a message.

Recieved a call at 8:57 pm. Caller said "From Florida Athletic League". I said, "This is way too late to call." Caller promptly hung up. I found this web site with the same area code but the phone was different. http://www.baylink.net/pal/

I have got repeated calls from this number and they ask for my husband by name.  When I tell them that he isn't available, they just hang up. They call all hours and most generally early in the am.!  I am so sick of these types of phone calls.  They aren't the first and they probably won't be the last, but they seem to be able to get away with it! So rude!

Get calls late at nite.  They hung up on me when I answer the phone.  When I try to call back I recieve a recording saying that this number doesn't work.  Will report to don't call list.  Doubt that this will do anything.  They have been harrassing me for 3 months.

I get the call from this organization several times a week.  I am on a do not call list, but somehow these jokers keep calling asking for money.

Who is sofapal and how do these people call an unlisted number using my nickname??  I've had several calls during the day from them no messages in the last 2 week, and again tonight.  Some Lisa girl was speaking, and she sounded African American.  It appears to be a residential number from Tampa according to information.  When I called 411 they had no listings for them either?

calls 4-5 times per day.  Asked for me by name and then said "well I'll be damned"  then would not respond.  I tried calling back at the number displayed on my caller id (813-793-7647) and I got a recording that it's not in service.  I called the 941-866-2336 number listed above.  If you listen to the message all the way through, it tells you to call 1-800-299-1895.  If you call that number and listen to that message all the way through, it gives you instructions on how to remove your number from their calling list.  Tried it.  Don't know if it works or not.  Unfortunately with the do not call registry, it still allows charities and surveys to call you with no penalty.  Not a very good fundraiser...

Called, asked for my husband, said he wasn't home. Click. Called it back and it is not in service. How do they do that? Called the number one of you left for Sofapal (941-866-2336) and got a State of Florida Police Athletic League information line that states fund raising activities are now in progress. Could that be the p-a-l in Sofapal?

Called 3 times with no message.

I have been receiving calls from this number, 813-464-2373 every single day at least 4 - 5 times a day and I'm sick of it. Today is the first day a voice was there that said, "this is moses can I speak to king?" and then hung up on me. My caller ID says it from Sofapal.

My Sofapal call came from 941-866-2336 and came at 7:25 Oct 8th.

This call happens three to four times a day...
I now answer the call saying Hello SofaPal can I help you?
They wait, then hang up...
Calls are now down to one every other day.
Let's find this jerk...!!!

Recieved calls from 813-793-7647 twice on Sept 7th, 2007.  Each time the person spoke spanish and hung up once they realized I spoke only english.  The second caller asked for me by name before hanging up.
They did not bother identifing themselves. (Very unprofesional!!)

I found the # 813-793-7647 is a landline in Tampa but no other information yet.  When attempting to call 813-793-7647 I got one ring and then a busy signal.
Submitted a complaint to the National Do Not Call Registory at 6PM Sept 7th.

Next will be to contact FCC at fccinfo@fcc.gov at the FCC web site, http://www.fcc.gov/cgb/complaints.html
