Must be the same guy. Instantly rude. Just called with the same gimmick. He asked to speak to the maintanence manager. I told him that the maintanence manager was not available. He asked who deals with lighting here, that he was returning a phone call and didn't get the guy's name.

I asked him what kind of lighting he was referring to - ie: if we had special emergency lights or something for the outdoor lighting... he asked what the maintanence manager's name was again, and that he was returning his phone call.

I had enough of the attitude about this point, so I told him that if he was returning a phone call, he would have a name of the person that called.

He hung up.
This guy does not deserve our business.

I have received the same calls several time from rude people wanting to speak to my maintenance men, strange thing is they have asked for them by name. When I tell them that I am the one who makes the decisions they are rude and hang up. They have also tried to get cell phone numbers of maintenance.

This is hilarious! I got the same call as everyone else. Take the call just for the comedy of it.. I can't believe they are companies like this that are actually in business.

Called my business saying "I was wondering if you could help me, I need to get back in contact with your maintenance manager"

I explained we don't have a maintenance manager, we lease.  She said "OK" and hung up.  

Two seconds later she calls in again on our line 2 with the same "I was wondering if you could help me..." line.  

I responded that she had just called me a second ago...she hung up on me.  

So far she has not reached our line 3...

Scamming scumbags  interrupting  and wasting the time of legitimate businesses...how aggrivating!

THIS NUMBER KEEPS CALLING ME ASKING FOR THE MAINTENANCE GUY AND I SAY WE DONT HAVE ONE AND THEY GET VERY UPSET1 OH WELL WHO DOES HE THINK I AM.. THEN HE ASKS FOR SOMEONE THAT KNOWS SOMETHING CUZ I DNT IM JUST A RECEPTIONIST! LOL NOT! U WILL NEVER GET PASSED ME SO STOP CALLING... I RUN THE SHOW HERE!

Same here, they tried to make it sound like we already do business with them, but they had information for my office that was at least 6 years out of date (they didn't even have the NAME of my company correct, we went through a merger a few years ago and changed names). When I told this woman that we don't order lightbulbs, because our office is small and we don't go through that many, she tried to argue with me that, "Yes, you do, the maintenance guy ordered some a couple months ago!!".  I said, "Really? Tell me how exactly you managed to send us a shipment of bulbs a "couple months" ago, when the address you have for me is incorrect, and we have not been at that location for 6 years?"  That's when she hung up, lol!

I received a call at work from this number. The guy said his name was Charlie and asked for my boss by his first and last name. I said that he was not available and Charlie then said well give me his cell number again because I misplaced it. I asked what the call was regarding and he said a part number for a light bulb. I asked if my boss was expecting the call and he said yes but was adament on getting the cell number. I told him the best I can do is leave a message. At that point he became very rude and said that he did not want to leave a message, that he wanted to speak with who he had spoken with before (which according to him was my boss). I then very nicely told him he was not available and then was hung up on.

HA!! Have spoke with "Dave the lighting guy from the lighting company" 3 times now!! VERY VERY RUDE AND PUSHY!! I just hang up on him now.

"David" is actually one of the salespeople, just called me as a matter of fact.  Typical practice with these scammers when you ask to speak with a manager they will simply transfer you to a colleague.

They don't like to state who they are, why they are calling, simply just want to ask if they are speaking with an authorized individual.  They do this so they can reference your name to ship lights which are overly inflated in pricing and attempt to pursuade you with gifts -- hoping they get someone breaking policy and can leverage that to push someone to force an order through.

I get a call from these people a couple times a week, it?s always someone different calling. When they ask for our Warehouse Manager I ask who is calling, Chris. Chris who are you with? Just tell him its Chris he will know. (DUH guess you think you are the only Chris around). I told him that I cannot transfer him without a company name....fine Commercial. Just Commercial no other name attached to that...no just transfer me. Ok...click!
Where do these bozo's come from? Don't they know NO ONE gets past me!! I love it when they say "I'll call back" hate to tell you, your still not going to talk to anyone!!

Phone calls from 813-849-0784 are a scam selling light bulbs.  They will ask for the maintenance manager.  If you try to call the number back to be removed from their call list, the call doesn't go through.

Total SCAM and A**holes (as another person mentioned)

Just had the same caller, asking for person in charge of maintenance, HA.  Turns out I just couldnt find that person!!!!  :)

Have received numerous calls from these people. They usually ask for the GM and when I put them on hold they hang up. I have had them call and ask for the person in charge of maintenance and when I press for a name they just keep saying " you know the guy who handles your lighting". Well this is the oldest scam besides copy toner scams in the book. Now I just piss them off when they ask for the person in charge of maintenance. I tell them I have several people in charge and I need to know what product they represent in order to get them to the right person. Eventually they get pissed off and just hang up on me. I will just continue to screw with them the way they harass everyone else. Do not purchase anything from them as I have read the markup is a joke like the company. Someone please shut them down.

This fellow said, "Can you do me a favor and tell me who handles your building maintenance?" I told him that would be the owner.  He said, Okay, can I talk to him?  I said that I can send him to his voice mail.  He said, "No that is okay, I'll just call his cell.  What is his number again?"  I said, I cannot do that. He said, "Okay, his voice mail then." I asked who he was.  He said, "Dave." I said, Dave from what company?  He said "WHY???"  I hung up.

very pushy scam artists. Wants to sell light bulbs at $150.00 each for a case of 60.
Will not stop calling after I told them to put me on the do not call list. Wanted to talk to person in charge of maintanance. Then said what was his name? Wanted to bribe employee into accepting order with the promise of a 48 quart cooler sent to your house.

Do not do business with this company or you will be sorry.

Continues to call our place of business, then hang up.  The telemarketers are very rude.

Some lady for was screaming into the phone for the "guy in charge of maintenance".  When I asked what company she just kept saying your lighting company.  Scam.  These people just want to see cheap lightbulbs for crazy amounts of money.  Don't give them any information!

Says his name is Al.   Extremely rude and when I put him to voicemail he bounces back saying he "needs" to get his cell #.  So I tell him that he doesn't have a cell and I get "oh come on, my daughter is 12 and she has a cell".

Some guy calls my office asking for my boss by his first name like he's his friend.  I tell him he's out of the office.  He says "oh, well let me just call him on his cell phone" - I say "No, I don't think so, I will be glad to take a message" - he says "okay, then I will leave him a voice mail" - I say "I AM his voice mail" - he hangs up!  Rude! Rude! Rude!  I called "David" at Commercial Lighting (Tampa) who apparently is the Supervisor.  He says he will take us off the calling list!  These people need some training in how to be professional and not ticking people off - especially early Monday morning!  Jerks!

Received call today, inquiring about who was in charge of our maintenance department. Did not identify themself.   We lease this space - when I told them that - they just hung up on me. . . .

Woman asked me for "the guy in charge of maintenance over there". I said I didn't have his number. She said, "You don't know how to get in touch with your maintenance guy?" I asked, "Why are you calling me to get in touch with our maintenance guy? I don't manage him." So she said, "Oh, so you lease," and hung up on me.

Received a call from this number today.  The guy asked for the "guy incharge of maintenance".  When I asked who was calling he just kept repeating the "I need the guy incharge of maintenance" crap.  Finally I just put him in my annoying telemarketers mailbox.  No message was left so it wasn't that important.

we do not want calls from this or any other unsolisited vendor - 20% of our daily incoming calls are from unwanted solisiters - we want to be off all calling lists! They act like they are suppliers to our company and try to convince you to puchase what you don't need or want.

Cold call from telemarketer trying to sell maintenance products/services.

Scam artists; they try to give you a personal gift to get you to buy their wildy overpriced crap, and a lot of it.  A few years ago, they got my name from an inexperienced buyer, so they know my first name.
    I have caller ID, so when these idiots call (often), I never pick up. However, the last 2 days our receptionist (who I clued in to the scam)has been on vacation, so they punch out of my voicemail and ask the HR person who picks up the call to page me. Today, I saw the whole thing happen from my desk, so I picked up and went off on "Sunny", telling her "You had me paged for a f*****g SPAM call?" She then asked what a spam call was, so I explained, using very salty language that HER call was a f*****g spam call, and to never f*****g call again! I could hear her plaintiff bleating as I hung up the phone. I feel GOOD!
