Called this morning but I didn't answer and they didn't leave a voicemail.  Just curious as this is a new number

keeps calling, never leaves message, don't answer

When answering machine picked up, someone kept saying Hello, Hello.  Could hear phone bank background noise.

We have been getting the 815-221-7900 call just about every day. Thanks to Erbo, that will hopefully be coming to an end.

Answered, could hear people talk in the background buy no when would say anything when I repeatedly said Hello.

Thanks to Erbo, I called the 800 number, pressed 9, then confirmed my number being removed by pressing 1. I trust that I'm now off the AMVETS call list. Thanks, Erbo! God bless you!

I've received this call from Amvets every day for weeks.  I decided to call it back today and go a recording directing me to call another number.  To make a long story short, here's how to get off of their list:
1. Call 800-327-4302, you'll get a menu
2. Dial 9, it will then tell you the number that you are calling from and tell you to dial 1 if it's correct or 2 if it's incorrect.

Received a call from this number at 8pm.  Stayed on the line for approximately 1 minute and nobody was on the other line.  So I got my cell phone out and called the number myself to see if someone would answer.  I got an aswering machine stating that they were from Am Vets.  They also went on to say that "You probably saw our number on your call list"....."We were calling you to ask for support of the Am Vets".  Then it said if you were interested in supporting their organization to call another number.

We have received calls from this number several times over the last week, often more than once a day. Each time I answered, there was silence and eventually, there was a disconnect from the other end....Finally, a person claiming to be with AmVets, was there when we answered. We told them we were not interested in supporting their cause at this time. We did not request this time to be removed from their call list as we assumed that saying no would end the calls....WE WERE WRONG! The calls began again the very next day. If we get so lucky to get another person, we will request removal....Do you think that will work?

Have received several calls from this tx. Usually doesn't answer. Spousal unit states she believes is a company that uses people to solicit funds for Sheriff's association or troopers lodge. When I tell them I work for the local sheriff's dept, I get a quick goodbye and a hangup.

They have an automatic dialing system.  The machine only allows the human telemarketer to answer if the phone is picked up, not sent to voicemail.  It takes several seconds to get to the dispatcher, hence the temporary silence.

Answering machine keeps picking up and they request speaking to me several times then hang up.  This has gone on several days. It is annoying!

They have called my house numerous times.  I just called the number.  It is an automated message service for the Amvets.  I would recommend checking with the BBB before making any donation to someone at this number.

calls several times a day for the last couple of weeks same as everyone else no message usually hangs up before answering machine picks up. Devastating to me, my boyfriend is having brain surgery and lives in the 815 area code.

Phone rings, no message on answering machine, and when I do pick up there doesn't seem to be anyone there.

This number has called me every day for over three weeks and never leaves a message. One call was even at 8am. Isn't it illegal for companies to call that early? Highly annoying.

Had numerous hang ups when answering machine picked up.  Then when I answered, a man called me by name and acted as though he knew me.  Said his name was "Rick" but I did not recognize his voice.  Did not say anything inappropriate nor did he try to sell me anything.  Asked me how I had been and what I was doing.  Ended the call when I told him I had my grandson with me today.

This number has called multiple times and each time they hang up within a few seconds of answering.
