So, who is going to call the dentist and let him/her know that their office phone is being used to attempt to scam people? It is possible that someone simply stole their phone number using Skype or taking it off the website or something.

I don't want to call them. Is there anybody else here with bigger ouevos than mine?

I just got this call too, said debit card was suspended.

Got the call this morning, no message left. After viewing this forum I blocked the number. Interestingly, I got a call a few minutes later with a number only listed at "499". They left a message which sounded like it was about my debit card. Too bad I don't have a debit card.

I just received a call from the same number, it said my debit card was suspended.  Called back answering machine says it was orthidontics office.

i tried to call the number today and no answer at all. over the weekend it was a dentist ofice that answered it. sauk valley to be exact.

i received the same thing . a call saying my visa was suspended. it must be someone trying to get information to steal your identity

Received an automated call from this number saying my visa had been temporarily suspended.

Look at when all of the posts were posted; within the last day.  This is definitely a phishing call.

Just received a call on my cell phone from this #. Left no message. Reverse Directory states that the number is a dentist's office in Sterling, IL.

same message: credit card cancelled, Phishing!!

Said my debit card had been cancelled.
