just got a call from Dekalb County sol.. 815-758-8213 saying I owe a credit card bill from 2003... ummm that's 11 years ago.. why would I worry about it now? she was very rude and I told her so. Told her I don't have the funds to worry about an old bill that is no longer on my credit report. That I only worry about the present. Not  a nice lady at all..

Left a vague message. Gave a completely differently phone number to return call. Sounds fishy.

This number just called me.  I live in Hawaii.  No message left.  My phone said it was an IL number.  Don't know anyone there so I added to my reject list.

Is this a legitamate money bills owed collection agency?

Got a call today from them (815-758-8213) looking for somebody we don't know but 6 years ago when we got this phone number we got calls ALL THE TIME (2-3 times a day at least 3 times a week) from collection agencies & attorney offices looking for this same guy.  We are a restaurant.  I got upset today & told them not to call this number again and that I don't know the party that they are looking for and that we have had this number for over 6 years.  The woman asked why I was "screaming" at her and called me a b_ _ _ _ & hung up on me while I was asking who was calling.  We don't have caller ID on our business phone so I pressed *69 and called the number back.  Man answered and said his company name very fast - all I caught was "county" and "solutions".  When I requested him to repeat who I had called, he hung up on me.  So I looked it up on the internet and here I am.  Now that I know what company was on the other end of the call I am VERY angry.  How terribly rude!!!

Says they are a debt collector from Atlanta GA (number is from IL, so I think not) and that I have outstanding bills from 1998!!!! that have not been paid on.
In 1998 I was 17. I couldn't have opened an account without my parents signing for everything, and there is NO chance they would do that.
Was told by a local collection company that they are a fraudulent company that makes calls like this in an attempt to get peoples SSN and other personal information.

I woke up a missed call from 815-758-8212 is what was on my caller ID. There was a message from a D. Krause?? and he was from Cal County Solutions, I could barely understand the message and had to play it over several times as he was eating while talking (wow!!) I was asked to call him back at 877-688-8288 ext 130, which ironically has been a topic on here as well but under a different name DeKelb County Solutions...lol

I don`t know what they want and I won`t be calling back but I will block the number from my cell phone. Looking at the discussions regarding the toll free call back number, they are using many 815 numbers to call people...so I guess just be on the look out

from a collection agencey that specializes in collecting old / skeleton debts.  they tried to collect on a sears account from 1978 that i never had.....

This number called and told me they collect a sum from Sears and we noticed you opened a account.First of all we always paid our bills and anybody what does real business with us knows better.I do not know were they have the nerve do call and make those kind of statements .We really have problems in the USA and there are no laws to protect a consumer of Law and Order.
