So rude and demanding!!! Asked for husband and said he wasn't here... told her he would be home after 7p and she asked if that was every night...  Told her yes.... She then asked for a number to reach him at work... Told him he works construction and she said well what is his Foreman's number.....Really?/!!

I Googled the name of the debt collector that was mentioned in a previous post CPS or something to that effect... The website gives no real information, but they sure enough have a page that requests your ROUTING AND BANK ACCOUNT NUMBERS.... for your conveinance ALL ONLINE of course... *rolling eyes* I think this stinks of a scam. They are always rude and always put you on hold and never let you off hold so that tells me whatever they are "looking" for is obviously NOT that important.

Glad I found this. I thought that my aunt had called CPS on me because she was being mean and I said some not so nice things that were true about her but she didn't want to hear.
And my phone died just as I answered it.

They are bill collectors.  I received a call from them asking for the accounts payable dept.  She was very rude and ended up hanging up on me when I asked for information

Debt collectors. I told 'em that no debt collector has the cojones to try to collect from me because they gotta walk through desert and rattlers to get here plus there ain't no bathrooms. Ever since then they left me alone.

Called my father said name is Olivia Green and its very important she speak with me. Howver did not call her back. I looked here and after what I've read I don't plan to call her back. Thanks everyone

As someone who has worked on the "other side" I can tell you it is against federal law for collectors to talk to anyone other than the person they are attempting to collect from.  If a person won't identify themselves, the collector is not allowed to say squat about why they are calling.   We used to get a lot of people who would call back, very defensive and uncooperative, refuse to say who they were, and expect us to give them info.  Well, what if it was a roommate or teenage child calling back?  No one likes to get collection calls, but as someone who has been on BOTH side of this coin, I can say that a little cooperation goes a long way.

Calls come at all hours of the day and night.  It is usually some black chick Named Monica White

harassment calls from these agencies need to be stopped.  These people have called my home, cell phone, my daughters' cell phones, all using the same ploy.  the refuse to give any information about the nature of the calls and when the person who they are calling for is placed on the phone they become really rude and state "why don't you pay your bills?"  I did the reverse, I called them from a restricted number and asked for each one of them by name, the asked who I was I said I was a private business calling to attempt to collect a debt and was not allowed to give them any information.  Guess what the tone changed very quickly.  It's too bad that there are a bunch of people who have nothing better to do with their time than sit on the phone and threaten people.

This is a Debt collector called Crediters Protection working (in my case) on an unpaid insurance claim from over 2 years ago.  The people who answer the phone CAN talk to you, or you will get put on Hold right away.

They are located on the 3rd Floor of the Rockford Trust Building(?) on the corner of State and Wymane in Rockford Illinois.  Even though they are a debt collector, they will not send you out a statement or clarification of Debt.  

They keep calling me every year (May 2007 I asked for proof of debt nothing sent to me and May 2008 nothing was sent to me again, May 2009 they called, I requested proof and was told I would be sent proof, nothing came.  I called them back today and they requested I send a SASE to PO Box 4115, Rockford, IL 61110.

They claim the only way you can resolved is to come down there

815-964-3087  Said it was Elizabeth Adams and to call back at that number (even though caller ID said 815-964-5828)
They keep asking for someone who doesn't live at my house nor ever has and this has been my number for 6+ years.  I get calls for this person from this number all the time, although usually it's "Susan McCoy" not "Elizabeth Adams"

In her message she asked for me or my ex husband. (We've been separated for almost 3 years, divorced for 1 and  don't even live in the same state).

Called back and was told she'd be with me in just a moment. Held for a while more.

Still nothing.
No identification of the company.

It is a debt collector, and they will talk to you if you yell at them when they pick up the phone.

I recieved a call from this number and did not answer. The caller then called my fiance. She said her name was Kendra and asked for me and said it was a business call and she could only speak to me. She was very rude to my fiance.

PERSON CALLED ASKING FOR ME BY MY FIRST NAME AND IDENTIFIED HERSELF AS MONICA WHITE. WOULD NOT STATE THE NAME OF THE BUSINESS EXCEPT IT IS A PERSONAL BUSINESS OFFICE. WHEN I DID NOT IDENTIFY MYSELF AS THE PERSON THEY WERE REQUESTING SHE THANKED ME AND STATED SHE WOULD CALL BACK.

called my cell number and asked for my husband and wouldn't say who they were with, said name was amanda then wouldn't answer when my husband called back.  did they call your home or cell number and did they ask for the person who's number she called?

This number keeps calling me and the same thing happens everytime i call back the lady says nobody called me it is a business but she wont give any info then hangs up!  Very rude lady!!!!!

I had the exact same thing happen. They called, so I called back, they put me on hold and never returned. They refuse to say what company they work for and just try to put you on hold indefinitely.

This number calls and hold the phone and when I call back the caller stated business office, and a female ask your name and place you on hold.
