Context: I'm in Ireland and have never before received a call from the States.
Today I was called from this number twice, but missed each call. My phone placed the number as from Missouri. Minutes later I was called from another US number, this time from Florida. I answered and it was for feedback on a service call for Epson our company had received. No US calls since.

For anyone who is on a "Do not call" list.....
FYI....
If you are on a "Do not call" list, DO NOT call for tech support, respond to infomercials, or order anything from the phone that is on the list. By doing so, you automatically give "permission" for telemarketers to call you on that number for a period of no less than 90 days from the time you made that call. Just thought you should know.

Received 2 calls from this number, but no VM msg was left. I called the number back from a different phone and got a recording saying they attempted to call regarding a "service event" and apologized for missing me. Said they would try again later if need be. Never introduced who they are or what the "service event" was.

I received a call from this phone number at work. I almost answered it, but they hung up just before I did. Now I'm glad that I didn't answer.

How about if we all give them your number instead? You seem to like these sorts of calls.
Kit 2011-11-01 14:03:17 Survey
Also to add, if you do not want them calling you, just ask them to place you on a "Do not Survey" list and the company (along with the company they are calling on behalf of) should remove you from their survey lists.
Just a reminder, these surveys are to help ensure you get the best service possible.
If you don't give your feedback then remember this in future if you receive unsatisfactory service.
I worked for a company (Computerland/NexInnovations) in the past that used this organization. They serviced every type of computers including Xerox, HP, Compaq, IBM, Lenovo, Dell, Lexmark, etc. If the company says they are calling on behalf of NexInnovations, that is the company you dealt with. If they say they are calling on behalf of Xerox, that is the company you dealt with. It may possibly also be a Xerox warranty customer satisfaction survey, in which case you had a service call on you equipment that was covered under warranty.

It's a independant customer satisfaction survey company who does a 2-4 min telephone survey. I was contacted for a service call I recently had on my laptop. The calls come from staff who work at different locations so they do not provide a call back number as they would not be able to quickly identify your record for the survey. If they do not get a live response, they move on to their lists. They may call back up to three times if they still need to get a response. If they don't call back then they were able to collect enough telephone responses for the month for the company you deal with.
All data collected for that company (ie Xerox) goes back to the dealer you used (ie. Xerox) so they can review and determine how to make improvements. These companies pay this organization to do the surveys so the caller will identify them as calling on behalf of.... Xerox. At the end of each month, the companies are able to see how they rate in customer satisfaction, compared to the other companies in the benchmark programs.
You can ignore these types of calls or you can answer and provide valuable feedback to help your service organization provide you with the best future service they can.

Ever since we put a service call for our XEROX printer this number has been calling. My name and my mangers name were on the Service ticket as contacts.
I will not answer.

Missed call. No message.
Razak 2011-10-07 13:06:51 Unknown
They will ask you a service that you don't know what it about. Their purpose is to verify your phone number and name so as to use it for illegal purposes.
Steve 2011-10-07 13:00:18 Unknown
This is a scam company trying to verify your identity and then use it for illegal purposes!!! They will call you and ask you about a services that you have no idea what it about!!!

They just called my cell phone, just left static for a voice mail. Should be no reason they are calling
me for any survey of work done. Have had nothing done.
PuddnHaid 2011-09-10 12:50:30 Unknown
Ah. That explains it. In my case, it was likely Time Warner Cable. An automated survey call is generated following every support call to TWC. I answered it once a long while ago. Once I learned what it was, I didn't answer again.

called my work phone and left no msg.
In looking back on other reports for this ph#, since I work at a hospital, I assume it's a f/u questionairre company for some service call into a vendor

If you really believe this, you're either a moron or excessively naive.

A lady called me from this number and said they are making a survey on behalf of our company's IT Services. She had a recent closed service ticket number to verify she was indeed doing it for our company. She had a list of less than ten questions asking how satisfied I am with the recent case and in general.

Brian 2011-08-08 14:01:20 Unknown
I've been receiving many calls from this number every day (just received 3 in a row, 30 seconds apart.) My phone only rings once before it hangs up.
SuperStorms 2011-07-26 17:29:17 Unknown
Not a great way to get input to a satisfaction survey! "First I'd like to tell you how pissed off I am about this call..."

They are calling to ask me to rate the service of the technician that fixed our Xerox printer. It isn't really a scam. The service technician whom works for the local toner supply place informed me they would be calling to rate how he did exchanging a mother board out of our main printer.
