legally there not supose to call more than twice a day or 4 times a week i'm sorry not everyone is perfect to see that you had other bills i life before that truck payment and you fell behind i am a reposessor but i wont let them degrade you now if they are suppose to sell the vehicle and tell you what it was sold for and what the differce is u pay please get in contact with me carsonstransporting@gmail.com

I would check into the legality of them drafting money from your Wells Fargo account. From what I understand, they can not draft your account unless you give them permission. Check your sales agreement and other documents to see if there is a clause allowing them to do so.

Just so that you all know.. be very careful if you have a checking account with Wells fargo as well as your auto loan. They will go in and pull money directly out of your checking account and apply it to your auto loan. they dont tell you they are going to do it they just do.

Wells Fargo..........my car is a total loss due to accident....so much for GAP insurance.  That amount you claim I owe is not valid.  This bank can eat me!!!!!!

More then likely someone had your cell phone number before you and WFAF has it in their system as a possible number. If they can't get hold of a past due customer at the current numbers on file they call every number that has ever been associated with that customer. Why research it? Why not have just called it back if you were curious to who had called? It would have been a lot quicker to call the number and see who it was rather then search the internet. Best to always talk to creditors. They actually are there to help. And they are only human themselves. More then likely they have past due bills too. The bill collectors that get totally irrate with a customer are more then likely the ones that have serious past due bills themselves. They get all irrate at a customer just to make themselves feel better about their own situation.

Getting calls every other day.  Not sure why they are calling since my payments have been regularly on time.  Perhaps I should call them back, maybe they owe me some money...lol

Called 4 times at my job. Finally had to call back to tell them that if you keep calling I will have NO job to pay my car payment. Tried to do a 1 time payment online. Could not get it set up. Mailed out payment. Called to let them know that I mailed it out;still calling! And yes,they do call after 9:00pm!! Not good at all!

No information. Just a message to call the number. I don't know who it is and will not return a call to anyone that won't leave a message.

Called my office and harassed my boss for information about me. Filing a complaint. They also have no problem calling after 9pm.

Found two missed calls from 816-584-2070 with no message on my cell phone!!  Since there was no message I wanted to research who might be calling from this unknown number.  I am surprised to hear that it is Wells Fargo Auto Finance.  I have never financed my vehicle and own my Honda outright?  I do not have nor have I had any financial struggles requiring a creditor to call me so this is perplexing.  What could they possibly want?  Sales call maybe?  Telemarketing?

Harrasing calls 5 days past due date. I call them to tell them I paid , but calls continue. FYI Wells Fargo Auto harrases you even if you go 1 day late and you call them to tell them. It doesn't matter.

Caller did not identify himself and then asked about a neighbor he couldn't reach.  How unprofessional!!!!

A couple years ago a computer glitch removed $4,000 from my Wells Fargo account..they would not admit the error, or, put the money back.  I sued and prevailed with no admission of guilt from Wells Fargo.  Last year I had a slight stroke and was in the hospital for two days.  When I got home Wells Fargo had started calling my phone 6 to 8 times daily because I had not been able to get to the bank and deposit car payment money.  I called them and explained I will mail in the 2 day late payment when I am able to get to the bank and to please stop calling because the calls cause me extra stress I did not need at that time.  The calls did not stop.  I had the number disconnected and changed to a private number.  Wells Fargo than got my Fax number and started calling it 6 to 8 times daily.  This phone does not ring, it just automatically goes into Fax mode.  I made my payment that was late, and was asked to provide a number they can call me on..I told them no freakin way, "you didn't care about my situation, so now, I don't care about YOU". So now I am getting the 6 to 8 calls a day on my fax number for a reason I do not know why..my payment is not behind..and I only have 5 more months and I will be free of them.  DO NOT finance your car with these people, they will hound you to death..so Wells...my Fax sound will all you ever hear from me until we are done..FOREVER....

On top of all of the complaints , they also charge you an additional $12.00 dollars for paying by phone and they also have a service charge for making your payment via the internet but you can supposedly pay at a bank location for no fee. When I purchased my car I was advised that you had to pay by phone or internet and could not pay at a local bank. I just learned this past month supposedly you can pay at the bank. I want the money back they are charging me to pay them.

Yes, Wells Fargo......We had a loan with them and then traded the car simply to get away from their constant harrassing phone calls. It has been 30 days now since we traded and they are calling me I suppose over payment. I told them we traded and to take it up with the dealership but they keep calling. They won't leave message and when they do if it's not for us it's for someone else which by the way I have told them numerous times they have the wrong number for them....UGH is all I can say if you can stay away from them do NEVER EVER finance anything thru them.

they are so persistent, its rediculous!! After calling my cell phone a few times during work hours they would call my work line, get a hold of my boss and tell my receptionist they had a tow truck outside waiting. Any references you listed originally on your loan paperwork & any family ties will be contacted. A tow truck visited my sisters house looking for me even though I never lived there.

My account went to charge off in June 2010 & I had been waiting for a collection agency to call so that I would try to settle. I got a call from Wells Fargo Auto Finance today which is puzzling because it?s the same name of the company that would harass me before. I guess what I am trying to say is I was expecting a collection agency that had nothing to do with the name Wells Fargo. Just thinking of this name makes me nauseated.  So I threw an amount out there $$ & it was so easy, too easy as a matter a fact, compared to what I am used to from them; right away the guy agreed & said he would mail a letter stating the amount settled was due within 10 days even though I requested a month.

I think we all at one time or another have had some financial issues. What I see as the major complaint here is the EXCESSIVE calling! Just because you call 20 times in one day doesn't mean I'll have that money 20 times!!!

I had three phone calls within an hour. I informed the caller she had the wrong number.  She called me a liar and told me she knows that I'm married to the person she was calling for. I hung up the phone and she called by two additional times.

This number just called me.  Asked for Cherie, when I said there was no Cherie here she said oh ok and hung up.  If this is Wells Fargo... it was wierd.

I pay my bills on time so this is not the case for me.  The above number is calling me, repeatedly asking for some lady named Rachel.  I have had my same cell number for 8 years??  Then when I tell the guy on the other end he has the wrong number, he tried to argue with me stating that "she (Rachel) just called from this number."  Not to mention another number "800-511-1812" keeps calling me (9-20 times a day) and does not answer.  I say hello and they hang up!  It is so frustrating. When I call it back it is an audio recording stating it is, "Wells Fargo Auto Fincance" Company.
When I waited to speak to someone, I asked that they remove my number from the list, and the lady says my number is not in their system so it is not possible?

I have never banked with them and now I definately never will after reading all these posts.  I wish I knew how they got my number to begin with!

Wells Fargo... they call every hour on the hour even when you're only a couple of days late (late to them is one minute past your due date).  Really think they veer on harrassment...
