got a call from this number on answer machine. left no message. I have in the past answered, they asked for some one I never heard of.

They told me that I took out a payday loan almost 6 years ago. They had a very old address that I have not lived at for the longest time, (almost 8 years now). They also knew my mothers name and brought her for some reason. They asked me to verify the last four of my s.s# and i gave them the wrong digets and they didn't say anything about that is not what they have, so I knew it had to be someone trying to con me.

Called me yesterday; claimed to be an attorney and then a collector and then a process server - which is it??? Could not give me a physical address and refused to provide proof of any so-called debt. Called them later, No voice mail, not even anything saying what company they were.

Well I know what they are, a scam and a fraud
