Got a call from this number. When I answered nobody was on the other end.

Some lady called and said she was from AT&T and they have upgraded my DSL and she stummbled on many of her words. I asked if there was an additional charge. She said yes. I said we don't want it and she hung up. The number is either busy all the time, or you can't call the number back. It really just about pissed me off.

I am on the phone now with a REAL representative for AT&T that says this is a bogus call. She is filing a complaint for my company as I type this. I suggest that anyone who gets these calls please let AT&T know so they can file a complaint for you as well.

They just did the same to me wanting to update my DSL from ATT..I don't have DSL service

816-994-9387, We get the same calls as everyone else. However, on 12-11 and again today 12-16-08 within 10 minutes of getting them off the phone our dsl goes out! Today after spending time with ATT DSL support they decided to send out a Tech. Then later we get another call same number in Kansas City, Mo from a person saying that he worked for ATT IT dept. and they wanted to advise us of upgrade. If we would give him our email he would email use the advisor. He was told many things such as FCC reporting and he hung up within 10 minutes Internet came up. Too strange. We called the real ATT and got nowhere with them.

816-994-9387.  i reported the number on donotcall.gov.  Woman on line said they needed to upgrade our DSL and they needed to send us equipment. I told her we've already been called 6 times about this and she said they would continue calling until they receive something from us in writing.  I was busy with a customer and had to cut her off of her endless sales pitch when I picked up the phone again there was no one there. Really annoying.  And since it's from out of state and I live in Tennessee my At&t service here won't allow me to block the call which really bites!

he say from AT&T ,sometime Cable Company,or DSL etc.You can not talk to him phone is either BZ or not go through.

just called me and told me his name was steve and he was with cincinnati bell and could offer me a good deal after about 3min I told him to put the crack pipe down   lol   scam

Received a call from this # 816-994-9387, no one said anything, could hear a lot of paper noise in the background.  I searched this # because we have been getting a lot of calls about AT&T performing some upgrades.  I have searched all the #'s they are using and found they are scam so decided to search this one just to see... After reading the rest of the comments I feel certain it is probably the same people.

He called and said he was with At&T.Were putting up new lines in our area also. He wanted my email address and that was all he asked for. I tried to ask him a question and he hung up on me. I tried to call it back and of course it was busy.

they did the same thing to me. They call every day like 10 times.Cant anyone do anything about this?

Got a call from 816-994-9387. Picked up but no one was there, so I hung up. Being curious, I googled the number and found this site. Hopefully they won't keep calling me.

The caller claimed to want to upgrade our high speed internet service and quoted one price for 30 days and another after that time and when I questioned it, he hung up.
