This number calls me 5 or 6 times a day.  I called verizon because it has a verizon message when I call it back.  Verizon states that it is a land line verizon number and they are unable to tell me who the caller is.  I also sent a text to that number and recieved a verizon message back stating it was a land line.

Phishing scam. Attempted to tell me about mortgage with wrong figures. Can't return calls claim to be from several different banks.

Rings twice and disconnects

These calls just need to stop!  Blocking these stupid calls costs money.  Only rings once and if you call back it's not a working number.  

Got a call today on my cell phone and one a couple of days ago on my land line.  The person asked for Fred both times.

Keep getting calls, rings twice, they hang up.

I just had a call from this number. One of dozens from this number and yes it rings only twice. I usually answer it on the 2nd ring and I get a dial tone. Tonight I did not answer it and it rang twice. Also just got another 817 call looking for my husband. What do we have to do to stop all this harassment? I would disconnect my home phone but I use it as my work phone too. 817-214-7779 STOP calling me!!!! Just called this number from my cell phone and got a recording saying, welcome to Verizon wireless, your call cannot be completed as dialed. GRRRRRRR!
