insurance sales spam/scam

Same as most of the above comments.  I answered because it was a local area code and possible customer, only to learn it was some insurance scoundrel attempting to push their program and tying up a phone line.  Usually twice a week time is wasted fielding solicitation calls.  It's a little after 11/am this morning and we've already received 3 calls.  One from this insurance company another from some political survey scam and as I was typing this "please press 1 for your free google update".  And they keep coming.

I also called them back to instruct "Cuna Insurance" on 1701 NW Hwy; ph # 817-909-9892 that my number was registered with the National Do Not Registry.  A female answered and when I told her about my status w/ the "Do Not Call Registry" and to make certain they noted my telephone no. & not to keep calling, she told me I would need to speak w/ "Douglas" b/c he could add my name to their do not call list.  Douglas got on the line and was argumentative.  He kept repeating, [d]on't you want to know why I was calling...?"  Notwithstanding, the purpose of my call back was to alert them to cease calling my (registered fed'l do not call) number [i.e. harrassing telemarketers] -- 'Douglas' ignored it to attempt to insert a sales pitch.  I have just filed a complaint w/ the Fed'l Trade Comm'n.

The scoundrels call all the time.  There has to be a resolution to stop this harassment.  We have never bought anything from a telemarketed source; how do these scum stay in business???

I received a call from this number as well; the sounds from the caller were clicking sounds only.  I work in a church office which requires my focus and attention on sincere callers.  So these calls are not appreciated. The caller ID showed 1701 W NW HWY; ph # 1-817-305-0622.

Got a call, but no message.

I gladly answered this local call thinking it was a customer since the ID read 817 area code. I answered with the company name and there was no answer. I repeated again my greeting and still no answer. I waited a few more seconds and then hung up.

Why call if you are not going to respond? If my company needs a product or services, we will call you. Stop wasting my time.

non stop calls from 817-305-0622.  Can any police take action on such non stops from 817-305-0622?????  They just won't stop calling.  How can we make this number stop calling????

Just another TELEMARKETING B*****D.  This one harasses me regularly - no doubt a computer dialing process.  What happened to our NO CALL LIST?   We now live in the "NO ONE CARES" world.

A woman screaming hello as I was answering the phone. Very loud call center in the background.  She wanted to send information on health insurance and asked if we had health insurance already.  Told her we did and not interested. She said something like Cana insurance or something like that. Not very clear. Caller ID read their address.  Why would you put the address and not the business name is beyond me. (Shaking my head!)

SOB, MO-FU telemarketers selling medical insurance. tell them go to hell and hang up.

They are calling about health insurance. They are located in Grapevine area of Texas. Call the number back and asked to be removed off the list. I'm not sure of the spelling of the Caller company but the guy said Caina or Cuna Insurance

repeat caller - I never answer calls from those I do not know.
