Received the same text message on my cell phone and so did my husband on 1/17/09 around 7:00 PM. Did not call the number - suspect fraud.

Got the same message at 7:16 pm. No supposed card numbers, just the message with the 817 number to call.

Same message, texted to cell phone. Have no cards with those beginning numbers. Didn't even bother to call the number.

Received a text message that said "Card Services Alert: Your CARD 4229-89XX-XXXX-XXXX has been DEACTIVATED. Please contact us at 817-886-0734 to REACTIVATE your CARD. When you dial this number it's auto answered. Says to reactive your card, press 1. To change your password, press 2. Very fishy!
