I too have been getting these for months. Several times per day. My wife had an idea...When they called, I pressed 1 and a man answered. I immediatly said some extremly vulgar things to him (too vulgar to repeat here). He hung up. That was 8 days ago and we have no recieved another call since. It worked!

Just got a call from this number.  Caller identified himself as "Jack".  I told him to take me off his list as I did not want to receive any more calls from then and he told me " to go to hell".  I am trying to find the Corportate HQ address.  If anyoen has it please let me knw.  thanks.

They left a voice message, saying my name. Then claiming they were a breathalyzer device. Two parts of this message was screaming, one I couldnt understand at all, the other I could only guess they said "oh by the way f*%^ you"

Seriously?!?!!?  They just hang up on me when I tell them they are calling a business line and to remove me from the list.  Why do they insist on continuing to call people who obviously have NO interest in participating.  This particular caller definitely should be reported for harassment.

I HAD NO STRANGE CALLS UNTIL I SUBMITTED FOR THE DO NOT CALL LIST, ALSO.  THIS IS A PUBLIC TRUST ISSUE, IMO.

I get call from this # at all times,, they will not say a word, but hang up after a couple of mim.'s or when I blow my whistle into the phone.........

DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR REAL INFORMATION!!!!  They are a fraudulent organization.  They will try to build rapport with you then slide in questions soliciting your for your zip code, credit card balances, interest rates, last four of your SSN, current amount due on your next payment, the last payment you made, 800 number on the back of your card, expiration date of your card, 3 digit security number on your signature line on your card, then finally when they think you are cooperating with them, they will ask you for your 16 digit card number.  Some ask faster than others and some try to build rapport first by telling all kinds of things like this is a stimulus package, you are already enrolled in card member services as soon as you recieved your credit card and its in the fine print of your contract, they are there to faciliate a lower interest on your behalf due to a new bill that was passed in congress, etc.  Never do business with a company that can't be called back, has no address, phone number on caller ID can't be called, etc.  
Even if you are on a do not call list, they will ignore your requests to stop calling which is illegal.  They call all hours of the day and night which after a certain time of night is also illegal.  My only advice is to NOT give any information to them.  I personally like to keep them on the phone for a while and "play" with them.  When they finally pop the "so it looks like you qualify, so what is your 16 digit credit card number so we can verify it is in good standing" question, I then say it is "4126 go get a real job and go F&#@ yourself, then hang up.  It feels great, or at least better than them being rude to you and hanging up on you otherwise.  I don't mind telemarketers since some of them have given me good insurance rates from a local insurance agency, or other offers, however they can give me their number, extension, address, and I call them back later after a little research.  This organization has none of that.  Thanks for reading, I hope this helped.

This number belongs to "Cardholder Services".  They also use the number 619-718-7464 and that number originates in San Diego, CA.  They have nothing to do with your current cred cards but want you to refinance your card balances with their company.   DANGER!!    RED FLAGS!!!

Caller ID said "Cell Phone CA 818-232-1609".  Picked up the phone and nobody was there.

Calls from this particular number, 3 times today.  One of the calls, I picked up the phone, and who ever it was didn't say anything. I could hear talking in the background and listened for a bit, then eventually hung up.  All I can think of is that it's such a crap "job", trying to get a rise out of the people is what they do for fun.

At 1059 hr, I called AT&T.  This number can be blocked through my phone company by paying an additional $9.00/mo.  Once this service is established, you merely call the telephone company and have them add any additional unwanted telephone numbers.  Short of using the telephone company's "filtering service" (call blocking service), I don't know of a way to halt these type of unwanted telephone calls.  Hope this helps others.

These types of calls didn't start until I entered my telephone number on the state (Wisconsin) and federal "do not call list."

A call offering to lower interest. Received on my cell phone

Robo-call. Pressed a button to get a person and asked to be removed from their list. Was told that they would not remove my number, I shouldn't have pressed a button, and then they hung up.

I got a call from them 3:40 today. rang 3 times I answered they hung up called right back to company name just party not availible.

I also got the same thing too. from 818 -232-1609 at 2:10 pm  on today.

I'd like to know what they want!!!!!

called us a bunch also. when hubby told them enough was enough - put our # on your do-not-call-list... lady said we'll call you back when you're in a better mood!!!!!!!!!!!!  grrr

These guys call all the time, and each time we request to have our names removed from their lists--they just laugh at us.

They hung up when I pressed "1".  Got their number and called back, but message says caller is not available.  Most likely a scam on using your phone number or some other rip-off.

They call almost every day about lowering my credit card interest rate. When asked to stop calling they hung up on me. they are ; Global Crossing Local Serv. Inc. ca. North Hollywood, Ca 91605

Got the same thing too. They have been calling since January or so of this year...today they called at 8:45pm. Isn't there a law against calling after 8pm?

A unintelligble partial word message that went to voice mail - so I called the number and got voice message that the party was not available at this time.  Didn't get company or individual name.  Seems rather ignorant to call and not bother leaving a message.  Interesting that it's another credit card organization wanting to lower the interest rates while other fees are just around the corner.
