I've been getting these calls as well a few times a week.  Several during the daytime, and one in the evening.  My Vonage dashboard shows the times.  They never leave any message, as others have said.  When they call in the evening and I pick up, I have a dead connection on the other end.  I've been worried that crooks were "casing" my home, trying to figure out when we're home and when we're out.  I did call back to tell them to stop calling - but they have not stopped.  I'm glad to learn that it's some stupid promotion, and not crooks "casing" my home to figure out when we're home and when we're not.

This may be a version of the advance-fee-for-something scam where something is a grant, loan, lottery winnings, interest rate reduction, gift card, refund, doggie, cruise, vacation, free gas, etc., and the advance-fee is for tax, shipping, registration, insurance, secure handling, processing, etc. They may send you a fake check, may want your credit/debit card or bank account number,  or tell you to wire cash via Western Union, Moneygram, etc. They can put recurrent difficult-to-cancel monthly charges or a 1-time charge on your card or bank account, and sell account info to other criminals and you'll have to replace accounts altogether. Wired-cash is irretrievable - once it's picked up at the other end, it's untraceable and gone. If they want you to call them up for instructions, they may tell you not to discuss the wire with Western Union desk clerks but the real reason is WU clerks are familiar with these scams and will warn you not to wire the money. Report to US Postal Service Inspectors https://postalinspectors.uspis.gov/forms/MailFraudComplaint.aspx , the Federal Communications Commission http://esupport.fcc.gov/complaints.htm , the Federal Trade Commission https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/ and your state AG, as appropriate.

Plus a 100 dollar. Debate card. 5 titles you can switch out at any time for less then the price of one and a100.  dollar gift card. I have enjoyed so far. I received a few calls from this number 2 weeks ago. When I finally answered, I spoke to a guy named Steve. He was very nice and helpful. They said I'd be receiving a walmart card for $100. It sounded too good to be true, but I went along with it anyways because the magazine offer was so great. I also spoke to a supervisor named Andy, who explained everything in great detail. I was very impressed. Today I received the walmart card in the mail along with a list of magazines. So far so good. My magazines should be here next week. I'm very happy that they called!

Calls constantly, day and night. Didnt find any other notes about the number, so I called it back from my cell phone, on private. Rang once and then an answering machine picked up asking me to leave a message, and to give them my phone number to add me to the do not call list. Funny thing is I'm already on the do not call list. That worked well...
