I got a call from Mike Parrotta yesterday, from (843)215-5293 but didn't answer. Glad I found this site.

Wow...what a deal this guy has going. I get calls from the 843-215-5293 all the time. Caller ID say Mike Parrotta. I am on to him/them now.!!!!! Have insisted on mail/billing/statements, never giving credit info over the phone.
I agree that it is borderline abusive and harassment telephone etiquette,,,he is a sicko!!! No more $$$ from this household.
Wonder if the real SC Firefighters could put an end to this guy:)

My caller ID says one "Mike Parrotta" called but left no message.
It gave this number:  1-843-215-5293.  Note it has the same area code and begins with 21

Got a call from that number on 06.11.2009 @ 12:46pm - hung up without saying who they were.

I get calls from this sicko on a regular basis.  I made the mistake of making a "donation" last year before I found out that this is not a charitable organization.  I was told that children with burn injuries are helped.  I did more research and found out that this is a labor union, and a pretty desperate, pathetic one at that.  I get calls now on a harassing phone calls on a regular basis.  It doesn't matter when I tell him that I will never give them any money again.  They just keep calling.

Just now called our office. Asked for owner by first name as though a good friend. When told he wasn't available, he said "I will just return my call later". That made a whole lot of sense!  Am glad I read the above posts! Will report him if he does not stop or speaks inappropriately to me!

Calls repeatedly, and when the answering machine picks up, hangs up and calls right back so the phone rings and rings until it resets. Calls before 8:30am and after 9pm...both of which are illegal. I told him that we had already donated both time and money, and he laughed sarcastically and said, "sure, sure." Will NOT stop calling, reported him to donotcall.gov.

Oh an read what ABC said about him... Makes you wonder who pissed in his Wheaties.

This is a scam company apparently owned and operated by Mike Parrotta.

He advocates for firemen but has rotten phone etiquette when you say you can't afford to give. Called me a cheap stake a***ole then hung up on me.

Just called and left no message.

They are calling from the SC fire fighters fund, trying to raise money.  The guy that I spoke with name is Mike.  He became extremely rude when I told him that we would not be donating any money this year.
