I get this scam call all the time and it goes to my Voice Mail and then gets deleted. I do not pay attention to calls like this. These people are trying to rip you off, they want your money plain and simple. I say do not pay them any attention. Delete the messages from your phone, or do not take the call, simply hang up on them. The big clue on this one, the Indian accent. BIG GIVEAWAY

This scammer is preying upon US citizens for whom English is a second language, using coarse language and threats in an attempt to intimidate them and extort money.

Do not call them back. Its a scam! The IRS does not call you, they send a letter in the US mail if they need to deal with you!

I got a vm on my mom's phone from an Indian named Jennifer,  she said I had 2 hr to call back and that will me in my favor otherwise I will be faced in serious criminal charges.  I tried calling back 2 days later when I heard the mssg and the line was busy.

No it cannot.  The scammers are located in India, are basically criminals and beyond the reach of US law.

Gary Cooper.   I guess Indians really like old-time American motion picture stars.  They can't be prosecuted because they are in India or Pakistan and regularly ignore US laws.

The scammers tend to pick on single women, single mothers, the elderly,  and members of the immigrant community from either India or Pakistan.

I just got 2 massages from some heavy Indian accent telling that his name is Bread Nelson and then another call with name of Dennis Stein and that there would be a lawsuit against my name and social security number...please call "844-332-5130' or "844-298-0231"

yes i just got a call from the same indian accent guy said that his calling from IRS and he told me if your husband doesnt pay $2900 in 45 minutes or the police will come to my house and arrest him for 10 years.  and also the IRS will freeze our accounts and will hold our house and will be in court.. so please please nobody fell for this SCAM and this is not right , i hope he gets caught and they for real put him in jail for 10 years ... ......... good luck all

I got a call on yesterday from yhis number saying that they were the IRS and I was audited and I owe 2200 and I need to pay at least $1000 or be arrested.  When I asked the person who sais his name was Raymond Scott send me out documentation supporting these alligations he became angry and started being rude and nasty telling me that I must have bad credit if I can't send $1000 to them and why don't i borrow the money and he also stated that I was not supposed to dicuss this matter with anyone else or be held criminally liable for doing so.  

I got a similar call today and the guy wanted me to go to the bank, get money in cash and wire to him. Said that if I disconnected the phone, I will be arrested in 30 minutes. I drove straight to the police office. His tone changed when he realized that he was talking to an officer. What a waste of an hour of my time... Sad that this is the best opportunity they have to earn a living. The most hilarious part was how the name of our street was butchered. I just hope that as the global economy grows, they find a better way to earn an honest living. What a pity.... they were certainly not a "Daniel" or a "Gary" despite their authoritative claims. Agree with "t" - calling elderly is not funny at all.

Received phone call as IRS TAX audit, asked to pay $3500.00 with in 30 minutes, otherwise be in jail right away.

Got a call from the same number.... those people are making a scam!! I am going to complaint right away.
We do not need to panic , I believe they will be caught and punished.

I just got the same exact phone call but since I was almost 99% sure it was a scam, I told the indian guy that if you are going to fake an IRS agent you need to at least be courteous when you call people and told him how my lawyer files our taxes every year and we don't owe a penny but even if we did I would be more than happy to pay it because I love this country and I know if you go on with this someone will sue your a** and then you will really be serving that 7 years prison that you mentioned to me. His reply to me was "F*** you," and I returned the favor as well and ended the phone call but saying "you too."

These scammers keep calling you from various numbers. They used to call me from 844-332-5130 but when I blocked that #, they have begun to call me from 567-261-4049.

SCAM!!!!!  They called my elderly mother, she couldn't understand because of a heavy Indian accent, so they put someone else on the phone but he had the same accent.  She then put me on the phone.  I noticed there was a lot of background noise, but the biggest clue of fraud was THAT THEY GOT HER NAME WRONG - they didn't know her legal name, only her nickname!  I questioned him further, so he "transferred" me to a supervisor - who had the same accent! (funny how everyone in the IRS is from that part of the world).  I hung up and looked up the fraud number for the IRS... guess what, she didn't owe anything!  CALL THE IRS FRAUD DEPARTMENT 800-908-4490!!!

Calls himselg Gary Cooper. Sounds Indian accent (from India). He even left a message with his phone number 844-332-5130. I am surperised why can't these people get arrested and punished

Just got the same called this morning. State that It will be lean to my banks account for ten years. ha ha

I got a call from this number and threatened me that IRS will revoke my passpprt and license. That a case has been filed against me from not paying taxes. He has a heavy indian accent

My wife got the similar threatening call from fake it's agent that federal govt has filed three law against her because we are not paying enough tax. I reported it to local police and they said it is scam and do not give them any bank or debit card information  .

I got call from 8443325130, left voice message threatening to take serious criminal charges against my SS#.

Don't you just love their reactions when you call their bluff? They can't do anything but blow their noses when their scam is exposed and they KNOW it.

I got the same call from the same number, its a scam. I have made him aware about it and told him that I know its a scam. Then I asked him to which department in IRS he was calling from and he did not have answer. He got angry and finally hung up threatening me to send official letter. :-)))))))))))))

folks, just be hostile yourself while talking to them. they will hang up and never call back.
