I just got this same letter and only called bc curiosity killed the cat! I asked what I had to do...knowing it was a scam (I'm handing this letter into the post office)  She said go to blue bell PA to a travel agency and watch a 90 min seminar and they will also give a 2 night stay at a hotel as a door prose. I did her my email addy to see if she really would send me a confirmation email of an appt. I guess I was playing inspector gadget.  Anyway it's really shady and some sort of scam I just can't figure it out.  DONT CALL!

I received a letter postmarked April 2014 (no day) with a simple letterhead stating "US Airlines" supposendly by Coreen Hayes, Vice President.  The signature sure doesn't look like Coreen is the first name because there's a crossed letter "t" in it.  Basically, the signature is undecipherable.

I was told to respond to the letter by 2014 Apr 28; and, I received the letter on 2014 Apr 26.  In the letter, the phone number to call was listed as:  1-844-809-7605.  Different phone number, same bogus pitch for 2 free roundtrip airline tickets worth $1,450.  Same zip code, 73125, Oklahoma City, OK.

The way these scams work, funds are solicited?for whatever reason?before any supposed tickets can be issued.  The scammers then take the funds, open an account, deposit the funds, withdraw the funds, close the account.  All of this is done in a very short period of time to stay ahead of the authorities.

I did som non-legal clerical work for an attorney awhile back which involved the sale of non-existant copy paper by scammers from a boiler room (small space, lots of telephones) to?this is no exageration?a myriad number of legitimate businesses including police agencies, and a couple of State Department of Prisons, as well as other governmental agencies.

Needless to say, the scam lasted too long, the scammers got caught, and were placed in a federal lock-up awaiting trial.

Time is a scammer's enemy.  Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, that's because it's not true!!

Look closely..... The letter says US Airlines NOT US AIRWAYS which is the legitimate airlines headquartered out of Phoenix.  I got this letter also.

I think I will pass it on to our local postal inspectors.  I may even forward a copy to the 'legit' airlines corporate office.

This is mail fraud.  Take a copy of the letter to the Post Office.  Ask that it be referred to the Postal Inspector for  73125.

Received the same letter as everyone else.  Pretty crappy job of some sort of scam.  Letterhead doesn't begin to look like US Airlines logo.  It's signed by Coreen Hayes "Vice President".  No return address, hand written envelope, just suspicious all the way around.   It's offering two free round trip tickets to anywhere on the mainland US.  

The postmark is from zip code 73125 which is Oklahoma City.  Corporate headquarters for US Airlines is in Phoenix, AZ.  Their corporate website does not list Coreen Hayes as any off the half a dozen or so vice presidents.

It says I have until May 1st to call 1-844-334-5002

I received a letter stating "attempted contacting you several times" I never received anything before.  This is for Coreen Hayes Vice President US Airlines I don't think it's the right logo!  I'm not calling.

I received a letter telling me that I won 2 free round trip tickets it say its US Airlines Haven't called them don't think I will.

This is a scam. Cmon federal government, stop these cheating b*****ds
